I am one of those who enjoys doing laundry! Love when everything is folded and put away nicely in the closets. I love those pre-sorting laundry baskets, a true timesaver. My best laundry-hack is when your sheets/bedding is dry, to fold the matching sets and put them inside the matching pillowcase. It makes making the bed really easy, since everything you need is together!

I hang dry almost half of my clothes at this point. I find it really helps for their longevity, especially knits or even sweats. They don't pill nearly as quickly if you hang them up! I also have to pay for every load (condo complex) and it saves a bit of money.
@riggs20
@riggs20 6 жыл бұрын
Sarah Timm - I dry all my tops just to save time and get the wrinkles out. My mom on the other hand never dries her tops. Even her t-shirts she hangs up. And I have to say her shirts last way longer than mine do. Mine will start to fade and pill, and hers still look good. We're about the same size so sometimes we buy the same tops, and I can compare them side-by-side.

Straight into the machine when full (ish). I use a net bag now for my washing when I’m travelling too now. A real time saver 💖👍🏻

Erica Kick Erica, try spraying everything with the ball point pen stains with hair spray. Soak the stain. My mom told me about it, and it really works. If you can, check the stain before you dry it and if it’s still there, spray it again and wash it once more. You should be able to save it all!

Nicely done! Keep Carter involved. It is a lifetime skill & he will thank you one day! My game changer was attaching a garment bag with Velcro to each sons hamper for THEM to place dirty socks and one on my hamper for delicates. Zip, launder, match & fold. Keeps everyone’s items together & fewer missing mates! Also, each boy has 2 hampers; 1 for jeans/towels and the other for all the rest. Very little, if any, extra sorting at laundry time.

I needed this laundry inspiration -- doing laundry is by far my least favorite chore to do. I'm definitely going to have to check out that stain remover, also. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the code to the cleaning products. My box came in on Friday. So excited to try them as my father has COPD and finding cleaning supplies that doesnt make him cough is a hard task without making our house smell like a hospital. Love your videos 😁

My son plays baseball 9 months out of the year, and the stains are insane sometimes. Brick dust and I have become BFF's! 😁. I've tried a lot of different things for grass and brick dust stains, and the ONLY thing I found that actually helps is.... FELS-NAPATHA! If you don't know what that is, it's a laundry soap bar they sell at Walmart and Target, and it costs... 97¢! 😱. I will soak the baseball uniform in hot water with FELS-NAPATHA and it will visibly remove the stain!

Sunny Dee It works!! Sometimes I will rub it on the uniform, and sometimes I will actually shave it into the water with a cheese grater or something like that. 😁😉

Here's a tip for those cheaper made, easily shrinkable, delicate laundry items. . . bras even. Hang them to dry! Do not put these things in the dryer! The dryer damages these items.
