This is a beginner Li Mei guide for folks new to Mortal Kombat or looking for some direction trying Li Mei for the first time. I go into depth about Li Mei's main combos and how to execute them without kameo involvement. If there is any tech I missed, please let me know right away and we will share with the community! Soo far, been playing mileena, Ashrah, and li Mei. Li Mei has the best win record for me so far despite not being “top tier”

3:09 I've been practicing this combo a lot, haven't got it quite consistent but I'm pretty close so I thought I would give some advice if anyone was struggling. The back 3, 4,3 juggle needs to be timed to try and keep the opponent as high as possible. Otherwise when you input lantern they'll be too low to the ground. If they are too low to the ground you'll have enough time off enhanced back forward 1 to confirm it and can either go into back forward 4 or kameo assist might work. Finally i have found that you can get the timing for lantern almost 100% by watching li mei's hands. After enhanced back forward 1 the moment you see her fists close is when you'll be able to summon lantern. So i watch her hands close and react to that to time the input. My reaction time is not good so i think it should be consistent for most people, but results may vary. Great vid!!

yhe ma8n issue with scorp is it doesnt cover any of your gaps 12 into 214 has a gap 214 has a gap also her pressure is fake

Also i have discovered a combo with her: down back 2 f 4,3 jump 2,1,2 E air nova blast(back toward 1 in air) down back 2 again jump 1,3,4 air flip kick Does a little over 46 percent! Hope you take this combo into consideration! Love you work man!

Another great video! Whats your take on playing ppl with wifi vs wired connections? Its like night and day for me even if there is a low ping i feel like i cant do anything vs wifi players ....cant block get combos poke or anything. Just curious my man keep up the good work!

So I will admit that it is tough to play people on Wi-Fi for sure, but I get that some people have no choice. I just try to play a little slower and more reactive when I do!

Awesome video. Do you have a tip on how to master combos? I keep dropping my combos, especially the air combos when I try to enhance 😭

Because I don’t want to give you a lame ass answer like “practice a lot”, I would say to break it down into parts. Try to get one part of the combo 10/10 times before moving on to the next. The enhance part is really annoying because of pressing trigger at the same time. I still struggle with that tbh. Thank you for watching the video!! 🙏🏾

The timing with lanterns is very strict. I don’t play her enough so I mess it up all the time.

Hey i wanted to ask, whats the best ping you’ve ever gotten on a mk 1 match? Max for me is like 40 ping, i wonder how i can lower this stuff for all games…

I would say the best I’ve had has been around 15ms. It averages in the 60s though.
