Great cut! Can anyone help me understand how he was sectioning the top while he was cutting? It looked like he was cutting the top sections well past the guideline (like closer to end of the strands). I thought maybe he was cutting sections longer to build weight up and out? Or am I wrong in this and he was cutting each section the same using a travelling guideline? I have very little razor experience but want to learn. I’m still pretty new to barbering in general and would appreciate any insight!

He pulled all of the top To a stationary guideline he established already from doing the sides first. Whatever reaches gets cut off. You slowly move section by section until you reach the center parting of the top. Then you switch sides and repeat. After you do the sides, you should resection the top into a middle part and pull small sections to the the side length. Check out bloody butcher barber. He does this all the time and can explain better.
