Durgesh ji. Your conclusion of early dormancy seems to be justified for getting smaller size of daughter corms due to early temperature rise in your area. As you have rightly mentioned this can be overcome by controlled environment system. Further out of around 46 kg bulb you got 820 flowers. It means around 20 bulbs flowered in one kg. What could be the reason for such a low flower out put. Kindly share your opinion.

Thanks Sir, 1. For maintaining controlled environment after winter time...it can increase operation cost. 2. Mostly bigger size bulbs gives flower. We can order only big size bulbs from j&k...but again it increases cost. 3. As I mentioned in video...with my limited space, resources...I can get max. 45 to 50 gram of dry saffron from 50kg bulbs. If I follow above 1,2 points. And that max. 45 to 50gram output is very less.

Very well said. You have already observed every thing closely. As per your observations: 1. What is the weight of a bulb below which it will not be assumed to flower. 2. You have paid good rate for the bulb, what was ratio of flowering and non flowering bulbs by number as well as weight of the bulbs. Thanks.

Sir hats off to your hard work. It really needs amazing will power to invest in something completely new. Sir i would suggest this season at Aug 15, 2023 you should use the same lab and put all your Bulbs in soil with the same temperature control, the result will come in the form of flower or multiplication. Sir please find this Air Conditioner Technician.... I am sure the video will get viral

Durgesh ji 1) kya bulb 2 baar buy karne hoge , kyuki , 1st time after harvest &multiply in soil , 15 gram se upar ke bulb nahi bacchege.....toh dobara buy karne hoge kya Kashmir se And 2) nd question ki bulb kaha mandi mein delhi , gujrat mein hi sell hoge kya, sell kaha kare... 3) air chiller ki requirement hai kya grow karne k lia ?

Sir...agar hm November se May tak soil main hi bulbs ko lagakar and cool climate de sake to bulbs first time main hi achche grow kar lenge...hame 2nd time purchase nahi karne honge.... Otherwise every year purchase karne honge... Because in Aerophonic and then placing in soil...is process se bulbs ki good growth nahi hogi...as I experienced and shared. 2. Bulbs online bhi sell ho jate hain...abhi inki ko mandi nahi bani shayad. 3. Flowering ke liye cold shock dena hota hai...9-10 degree tak...So, agar flower chahiye to Air Chiller ki jarurat padegi.

I took one day training of growing saffron vertically, if the bulb weight is less then 8gms the flowering chances are very low. So just put them in soil . Also disinfect bulbs before putting them in room from fungicide or neem oil. Sir please share what was the price of the bulbs, i am planning to do it for next year,

Yes, you are in doubt. I bought 10kg+50kg in raw condition (with extra covering+dry soil attached with them)..02 times. Now, finally I have total 12.50kg clean bulbs.

Sir Can you please tell , 1. The number of bulbs you purchased and net number of bulbs in hand now after multiplication 2. The reason why the mother bulbs got degraded in your case ,whereas others tell than the life of bulb is 7 to 8 years even if they multiply it will continue to flower for its lifetime. I didn't count number of bulbs...I just weight them before and now. In my case mother bulb got decomposed.

1) Sir how many years does the bulbs keep multiplying.? Because i have heard that lifespan of propagation is only 8 years 2) the daughter bulbs produced from the mother bulbs will they reproduce new daughter bulbs the following year as well? So will this process keeps on repeating Every year? And willl they be no need of purchasing new bulbs forever

@@DurgeshProjects Ac will not work in lab as safron seeds need lower tempreature around 5-10 degree that cannot be maintained by Air conditioner. For Proper flowering you need to use Air chiller . and also light system is not appropriate. .Distance between light source and plant bulb has to be 2 feet minimum . One more thing that was very imp was Co2 monitoring and high level of moisture in the air that was not properly maintained in your setup . And moreover hydrophonic technology is used now to grow bulb faster and gain proper weight . And one more thing in jJammu and kashmir temperatue some time goes to -5 also and that plays a major role in cryogenics of Plant bulb .

Mistake you did is you brought bulbs online...130 kg comes will give 1 kg Saffron.…please go to Kashmir and buy from farmers...lot ofplanting material is wasted or of no use if they send online
