Thank you for this informative video. I purchased a chaise lounge at a medical supply store for my 98 year old husband. I asked for a massage chair since he has bedsores. When the chair was delivered, it wasn’t a massage chair. I emailed them to say I would dispute the 1600 euro charge. I also went back to the store before closing on a Friday. I was told the store did not sell massage chairs! What to do now? They have not picked up the chair. No comment at all from them. My dispute has been recorded on my credit card in the USA. They are waiting to hear from them. What more can I do?

Hello Val, I am really sorry to hear about your bad experience. It doesn't seem that the shop is willing to take responsibility for the fact that you did not receive the item that you ordered. In your situation, at that stage, I would seek advice and assistance from a specialized consumer association. There are many in France and the main one is called UFC Que Choisir. You will need to be a member to benefit from their advice and assistance (if I remember well the membership will cost about 50 euros/year). They can for example help you to write a complaint letter in French with acknowledgement of receipt mentioning the applicable laws, or even give legal advice. You will find the list of consumer rights associations here. www.economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf/Liste-et-coordonnees-des-associations-nationales I hope this will help.
