Hi everyone,
So happy I had the chance to get Shirine for a tutorial, it’s been ages since I was trying to get to do her makeup!
A few things you don’t get to see in the video about Shirine but I would like to mention them. So first of all it’s very rarely that someone in Paris is actually punctual. For me it means so much as it shows respect for her time and mine as well. I don’t speak really well French but she has the patience to let me finish all sentences without interrupting me, she’s very friendly, but also very polite and respectful and all these qualities just.. really worth mention about.
Now about the makeup, I suggest you to really have the patience to look at the whole video, or at least the whole eye makeup part, as no words can describe better than an actual video where you see the movements.
In my opinion, Shirine’s eye shape is actually super versatile and I could have done at least 4 types of eyeliner on her, so if you have a similar eye shape, please don’t feel like you MUST do your makeup in one way only. Experiment a bit.

This is the kind of tutorials we like to see. Most of the makeup artists we see on KZfaq and other social media, do makeup tutorials on ,,perfect" models, i.e perfect eyelids, perfect skin, big eyes and etc. We like to watch tutorials on faces that we see everyday, not on models with perfect symmetric faces. You did a wonderful job from start to the end. I heard that makeup artists don't prepare the skin of models at all. So they get dry skin and all kind of problems. You prepared Shirin with so many great and highly priced products. This is so nice and caring if you. The makeup is great. Feminine and Rockstar. You two are a wonderful team. It was so cute how she loved her makeup.

I realized my issue is not just the hooded eyes- it is the fact that the skin is aging and is not tight... It becomes even more obvious, all the product is more visible... so I keep it minimalistic as possible.

Sweetie!!!! Freckles are amazingly beautiful! It doesn't matter if it's just a few, or a lot of them, it's beautiful! It's super cute, delicate, it softens the lines of the face... you must have hated it because in childhood other children may have said something not nice about them, because some children are really mean about anything that's different from themselves. Every girl, woman I've known with freckles hates them and wants to hide them and I get in total shock! Ive never seen you but I already know that there's no chance you could be less than amazingly beautiful! You're blessed!

You did such a fine job on her, Lovely! I adore a thicker eyeliner with natural lashes. You also used some of my favorite products: that PM gel eye pencil, the RMS luminizers, and Ellis Faas colours. I just had a Zoom meeting/class with one of her MUAs, and I learned some new things! 💜💚🧡

Oh, I love the Ellis Faas eyeshadows. It is first time in years I have seen anyone on KZfaq use them, but I have been using them for at least 8 years if not longer. Thank goodness they changed the packaging on these, my favourite colour is 107.
