Our accents vary immensely, down south is where you'll find the fast speakers, the further up north and closer you get to the Border states, the speech definitely gets slower.

for me Mexican English (not Chicano English) sounds neutral, here in Mexico in Guadalajara I have heard Mexicans speak English and they speak neutral, and very clear.

Being a son of a Mexican immigrant, this is how I spoke as a kid. Of course, there's dozens of varients of "Spanish English". I here in California's Central Valley, Chicano speak is the dominant accent among 1st and 2nd generation mexican Americans. Think of Cheech Marin.

there's different types of Mexican accents , for example there's the LA /California accent that Mexicans and Mexican Americans have then there's the DMV accents (D.C Maryland, Virginia) Mexican accents then there's the Mexican American accent that sons or daughters of Mexican immigrants develop because they learned two languages

im sitting here like a dumbass with just one earphone and i look at the comments like, help, and everyone was chill then i realised im deaf i now have severe deafness in both of my ears and it took this video to find out. overall, i learnt how to do a pretty good accent

1:20 You're right! But actually, the Spanish "O" is long. When I say long hard O's, I am talking of.... let's say the O in the word "Shown" "Oh", instead of the "O" in "Dodge"

The accent varies greatly. Example: Those of the north (I live there) speak slowly, Those of the center are those who speak faster, sometimes the last letter is dragged (example: normal pronunciation: "Chinga tu madre!, Center pronunciation: (CDMX) "Chinga tu madreee!) making the word have less duration, those of the south, are the slowest words.

You are correct; this would be the accent the Americans would expect from a Mexican. The Ricardo Moltalvan accent, very elegant😜 but there are way more accents, depending where you are from.

Mexicans are definitely way more nasal and long than american people accent. Also rolled vowels and intonation (an asiatic theme). You cn start going stocatto but just hold your breath and roll the vowels hard (holding nose) and also everything sounds like a question. Wikipedia does the best job of describing each and every pronunciation of this accent. Its under Chicago English. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicano_English

1:19 - exactly like in Polish! When you said it you even sounded Polish. Well, Polish and Spanish have many in common, we don't have a "schwa" sound, we can make this hard "rrrrrrr" sound, we have a simliar accent of words. I don't understand people who say that Polish sounds like Russian. No my friend, Polish sounds more like if a Latino person tried to speak Russian. :D

I am from the north, a few kilometers from Yuma but in the Mexican side of course, and people from my own country can’t guess where I am from because some how I sound Armenian to them, and believe me, I have a Mexican look 100%, as we say in México, I have the nopal (cactus) in my forehead

Spanish does have diphthongs or even triphthongs but it depends on the accent

And then at the end of every sentence we’re gonna say “weeeey” and you now you’re fluent in Mexican.
