I am old and I remember the boogaloo as a dance in late 60's early 70's Last night I watched documentary on PBS on the Insurrection. They mentioned the boogaloo militia Which a organizing a civil war eventually. I just remember boogaloo as a dance.

I see how some people do this thing where they pop and their whole body, well, pops. And I see them popping their arms and legs together. However im not sure if they also pop their chests along with their arms and legs. Would anybody know the answer to this?

i'll stick to my primitive improvised dancing . I couldn't even remember the simplest football plays as a kid and i can't follow the simplest dance steps . better to dance like a stupid crazy person than not to dance at all

take some class of choreography , its just time, your body it will start to got memory

Start with easy stuff and build up. In my opinion dance feels more expressive when you learn more technique. It allows you to express yourself much easier because you have more grooves, styles, and concepts at your disposal. If you truly want to get better, all you need to do is practice a lot. Just learning a few grooves can make dancing significantly more enjoyable.
