🙂Thank You very much. this tutorial should be INCLUDED in New Hire Orientation it's a complicated process for Non Millennials, this course would be- beneficial during the Onboarding Hiring Process Not everyone learns the same or grasps Info the same., Again, thank you for this helpful POC tutorial.

I have been a nurse since 1997. We now use pcc charting system. For the past few months my DON says I have not been signing off my treatments. I know I have signed off doing this work. I do a triple check at end of my day to make sure it is done. But when she pulls it up it does all show i have not done it. How can you prove that someone is changing your work?

Question about pcc charting? Can someone. Go into pcc and take someones sign outs and make it appear they never charted on say treatments for a day

this is going to be challenging for newly hired nurses especially in the nursing homes. Ive used cerner in the past and pcc is quite confusing. nevertheless this presentation is invaluable source of information. hope you'll make another video on how to do the MAR as well as nurse charting. Thanks

I am starting as an LPN in Cali this month, going to be traveling between hospitals for a nursing registry. I am definitely saving this. Is there a creators mode for this where I can simulate charting?

the facility you work for can create "dummy" patients to assist in charting. I know this comment was 3 months ago, but maybe if this helps someone currently reading. It is good to ask about sim charting during any orientation.@@sparta38

fall documentation can and usually is building-specific. some places will require paper fall packets still, please see your unit manager for assistance in identifying the required assessments, and then if you have specific questions on how to fill out those assessments, they can be better answered. some buildings use "risk management" some use E-interact, and some use whatever they use. These are all functions in PCC but some places accept different things for their state requirements.

Hi Muhammad , like your teaching, I want to become nurse but need some help with the POC and Administration. Is there a software that I can use to practice. Or do you have a program or a website that can help or even some training that I can used. Thanks.

Hi Shelly, that’s great that you want to become a nurse. Unfortunately, these software programs have licenses that need to be purchased and they’re not cheap. Every healthcare facility has its own software. Wish you all the best.

what type of EHR's mostly used by nursing home facilities in the US? I'm concerned because I've never done this pcc before i only experienced cerner millenium. Thanks

It depends on the care you provide for the resident during your shift. But technically, yes, you need to fill out all of them.

Hi Mariam, it is the same for activities. You need to focus on the level of dependency and what you did for the resident. I haven’t taught this class for more than a year so I’m sorry I can’t provide more videos.

this permission is usually given by whomever "made" your PCC or POC access. you need to have your assignment in PCC listed as whatever job you are taking, STNA, LPN, RN etc...

this is access that is given to you by your administrator, or whomever gives you the PCC access. I dunno about the UK, in America some places do not allow remote or phone access as it can lead to HIPAA violations. but, some places do not seem to mind. its worth a shot asking whoever gave you the login.
