A big help I use for audio cues that I think is severely underrated, is the visual sound effects option. U should try it. It’s one less thing to think about in a game with terrible audio.

Bro visual sound affects are overpowered u can see what’s happening around u so easy for example I was near the shadow Henchman base near craggy and Frenzy farm i went down to the race track and I could see gunshots from frenzy and the reboot sign and that’s insane I couldn’t hear any of those sounds at All and I have good ears and a really good headset

Things that helped my game sense: -Learning all the different sounds of players drawing different weapons (every weapon has a different sound when picked up or drawn) -Actually using the damage origin direction indicator (blue/red half moon in the screen centre when you take damage) and getting good at it -Turning on «Visualize sound effects» because the directional sound ingame sucks -Practicing looking through builds, since you can look through builds that don’t have full health. It’s easy to forget the simple stuff, although it is often what helps you out most.

Visualize Sound effects is really helpful u can hear boats from like 300 m away its crazy and u can hear footsteps thar u cannot hear with normal audio i recommend it

I used to get 20 or less ping in season 2 but I updated Fortnite to season 3 and during a game my ping frequently spikes to 1000. Can I change this or is it to do with the servers?
