@@Agent-vf4sr ok, cable is fine, i hear beep when connect laptop in debug usb mode but as You said, tool for loading img of android 8 did not detecting mi box :-/

@@Borewicz9 if i enable usb debugging in developer options I can see Mi Box as once in device manager. But Amlogic burning tool it is not detecting the device. In that tool under device it should show as hub

I wouldn't try it because even a small change in hardware could brick your device. I wouldn't try it unless somebody already succeeded or you're willing to lose you device.

Sounds like a power problem. Try to do the same procedure once again but first of all I would try another USB drive, just to be sure, then i would change the power adapter, I am currently using an old PSP charger and it works perfectly.

@@xredtypex all right, so, I've done some searches and I would say that yes, it is probably bricked but I've also found a guide on how to unbrick it. Did you use files from this tutorial on a Mi Box S? the files shown in the video are for the Mi Box 3 model

@@0rigami1 vâng bác. Bác cho em hỏi chút Android 8 thì tìm kiếm giọng nói nó có ổn không bác. Android 9 em thấy mọi người bảo lỗi nhiều, có người còn đơ tất cả dịch vụ google luôn. Không làm được gì kể cả xem KZfaq :(

@@quanghung10742 mình ko dùng tìm kiếm giọng nói mấy nên ko để ý, nhưng tốt nhất là dừng ở 8 thôi, hôm nọ lỡ dại lên ko về được như bản 9 cũ trước đó đã bị rút khỏi OTA.

@@0rigami1 cám ơn bác nhé. Em mới lấy 1 cây shop lên Android 9 luôn rồi. Thôi cứ để thế dùng. Hiện tại thì thấy thỉnh thoảng hơi đơ tí. Lúc nào nó đơ hẳn rồi tính về lại Android cũ vậy

You can use the ADB command "adb reboot recovery" via USB cable (with ADB debugging enabled in Developer options-- tap Build in About 7 times) or an apk like Terminal Emulator or Termux.

@@jameelrajul3088 Just a note: On mine, you hold the "back" and "okay" button for the duration of the first splash screen and then release when it goes black. It will repeat the splash and boot a second time then go into recovery or flash mode (depend on which step). It doesn't work if you press it too short or too long. I was having a lot of trouble with it and flash mode doesn't seem to initiate unless you do the command after unplugging when in bootloader and re-plugging in 5-10s with the buttons held (with it wired in).

@@jameelrajul3088 I know Termux works because I used it to uninstall google play music and some other system apps. However, I would try the ADB wired method to make sure you have all the necessary drivers for it.

Hi! I wouldn't try on the mi box 4. As far as i know the firmware files are different and you can't flash the files that i've posted. If you do, you'll most definitely brick your box.

I don't think so and I wouldn't try because you risk to brick your device

Hi, unfortunately the USB burning tool is only available for Windows. You either have to use bootcamp or find a Windows PC. If any other solution will be found, I'll let you know

oh no, don't even try. files are very specific to every system you are almost certently going to brick my device

I don't know, the hardware shoulòd be very similar but I wouldn't try since it's possible to brick the device.
