How to Download and Install Super Mario Bros. X on Android (TheXtech)

2 жыл бұрынI planned to make this video a while ago but I had some issues. I was finally able to fix them so here's the video. I used a Samsung Galaxy S21 for this video. Keep in mind there is no level editor which is very disappointing, but at least you can play almost any episode with it. However if you play episodes made from 38A or SMBX2, they may not run properly.

Hey guys. I just realized that downloading SMBX on Android has changed significantly. I will remake this video soon. And apparently you can download it on your 3DS and Nintendo Switch which I have no idea how that would work. I don't know how to mod a 3DS or a switch and I don't feel comfortable doing that in case they break. Sorry for the confusion.

@@Chaiseki Hey man. I will make a video of how to download TheXtech on Android and Mac. But since I don't have a mac I will need to do it from a VM. So I cannot make the video until I figure out how to get Mac OS on VM.

2:25 I can't seem to find SMBX in the folder. I have done everything correctly, but it's not showing up. I have watched this tutorial twice a d can't seem to figure out what to do. Also what is the purpose of RAR? My only guess is that it would be used to unzip the files and then put them into a folder that the directory can find.

it means in Android Version doesnt Support the episodes with Scripts?

So 38A episodes can be played, but if it uses scripts then it won't work properly.

If you want it to run properly using TheXtech then yes.

If you look closer there is a gamepad icon to the top left of the screen although it's hard to see. That shows and hides the gamepad controls
