@@jr3413 You only need to power off the computer if that is what you are reflashing if you are not using the downloaded windows 10 for the pc that you downloaded from you dont need to power it off unless you want to.

There are lots of Key sellers in the market. I tried three different companies, and both stopped working after a couple of months (One of them after less than a month). Also, once I had to upgrade to Windows 11, it stopped working because the key wasn't valid anymore. Anyway, I got three keys for all my PCs from BNH-Software and have never looked back since. Zero issues. There are some cheaper companies however I instead pay a few extra bucks for peace of mind. Hope it helped.

@@fredofons6086 when you insert the usb flash drive, make sure it isn’t corrupted because the drive needs to be new or scanned if old, and it will show you can select it, also make sure the flash drive is 8GB+

Now I have windows installed on my usb and obviously it was free from using the media creator tool from Microsoft. So when I boot up my pc for the first time windows will be found in my usb, but I’ll have a limited windows. So to get a license do I go to Microsoft and buy windows to for $139? www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/windows-10-home/d76qx4bznwk4/1NT3 or do I install windows on my custom pc, then click upgrade go to Microsoft and buy a license? As of 16th april 2019 - WIN10 installer keeps repeating itself SOLVED: 1) Proceed to the installation 2) When the restart window pops up, You'll have 10 seconds to remove the usb from the computer 3) Computer will restart from the WIN10

When the watermark doesn't appear it means that your system is already assigned an activation key. Which is usually a laptop or desktop preconfigured by a Manufacturer

i was playing video games, i lost, raged, hit my computer right where the hard drive is, the computer screen went blank, i restarted it like 6 trillion time, finely the screen slightly turned on, i was filled with happiness, i looked at the screen, "please install an operating system", my hart fell to my stomach, i restarted my computer, "fixing (C:) drive", at that moment i knew my hard drive was dead (rip hard drive we will remember you), now im here, help me.

Very very easy tutorial and really descriptive, thank you. For anyone wondering I have a Lenovo G50 and dropped and it which basically destroyed the harddrive. I took it to a computer shop and he said I needed a new harddrive and in turn needed to reinstall an OS. For labor and tax as well as an on sale 240gb ssd he wanted to charge me around $165 all in. I went back and bought the SSD for $35+ HST and watched a video on how to install the ssd and then this video on how to get the OS. Everything worked flawlessly. This was uploaded in 2017 and I think they changed a few things for the install. I didn't get an option to enter a key to get rid of the of the water mark so I guess everything is free which is awesome (NO watermark on desktop), and I think a couple other small things changed but it's very self explanatory and it probably differs between PC's and laptop brands. Thank you very much for this tutorial, you saved me over $100. Much appreciated 👍

@Vlien Boy Go ahead man but back up all your files. I didn't and i lost all my music, pictures and games. And make sure you have a product key to Active Windows. You can find one on the internet if you don't have one.

Hey Crater.. thank you so much for this video. gosh.. very quality and step by step instructions I have done so many computers, and was easy but a neighbour, got a USB from France i found out, they installed onto his computer and took over and accessed all his income tax.. so around here the internet companies are rubbish and he sleeps during the day and up all night, I had to bring it here, did all but another way and worked but again, he did the same thing and he bought a new computer and tried to again with this one and had the country screen and next, but the keyboard and mouse did not work at all, and tried everything even online and no help, gosh, now says '' no boot nor ', sorry trying to find the words in English since French here lol and you just showed I had to open that and but onto USB.. 🤔😩 duh.. lol. that is what i forgot.. so thank you so much.. amazing video and gosh.. thank you again. Thank you very much for this concise and educational tutorial-video... My question is: Do you have to delete all the existing partitions on an existing hard drive?. I thought, it would be feasible to choose one partition to install the OS on it and the other partition will stay intact and safe... What would you suggest? Once again thank you so very much for your help in advance

Whenever you're working with partitions or installing an OS, its prudent to have a backup of all important data. Better safe than sorry. You don't necessarily need to delete all of the drive's partitions, that's the general rule you follow when you're going to be installing an OS.

BEFORE YOU DO THIS: If you are updating an old pc from windows 7 to windows 10, REMEMBER THE ACTIVATION CODE! the activation code from your old windows 7 computer can be used to activate windows 10 as well.

Huh, that's interesting. I still have it, but the tool download won't run on my computer. I've tried every method and still doesn't run. I thought maybe reloading it with my 7 64 bit and try it. Maybe that might run it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I used this to fix my laptop I got for Christmas that got a virus and I had to delete stuff and I accidentally deleted the windows partition and thought I was going to have to buy a new hard drive because I was dumb but this just reinstalled windows 10 for me!!

Sept 2020. It worked on a new build just like he said. Thank you! I used wife's laptop and downloaded to a terra external HD. Plugged in to the new build, turned it on and it took over from there.
