I did try to download mods however I went to the EA file and clicked on the sims 4 but there was no mods folder, do I just create it in the file? (update: NVM I found it lol the ea file and electronic arts file are different my bad)

Thank you so much for all of the information on mods!! I'm super new with sims 4 even though I've had it since 2019. I liked playing with the base game then got bored and wanted to do some challenges. I had to install a mod for relationship statuses between sims and was frustrated doing it yesterday. But after taking a step away from it for a night, watching your video, and reading what I had to do to install it, I was so relieved because I finally installed it. I knew how to get through the folders because of custom content but jesus this is a whole new realm.

The sims now disables mods when an update but it’s still good practice to remove because something can go wrong

This may be totally tmi right now but anyways, i was explaining to my man how you're basically the mod plug and the OG on all mod news (following on my other account since 10k) and I showed him how your video randomly shows up in my Like/Comment/Sub clip (a screen recording & yours was in the recommended) & i just think its cool to have content along side of a really hardworking OG simmer & youtuber. BUT ANYWHO, the whole point was to say that I peep the growth and the progress and see how your quality and content has improved over the years.. Even you getting more comfortable with doing face cams & edits and stuff. Hey there. So I'm new to using mods. I added a few build mods (flooring & furniture) with no issues. I've been watching a lot of videos and everyone seems to be using T.O.O.L. I tried downloading that & B.B.B. as well as a few others that effect personality and interactions with kids and pets. Followed all steps as your video (and several others) shows and their instructions say, but none of the new stuff I've added is working. Any idea what could possibly be the issue?
