you can play disc as well, only if it does not recommend higher firmware to play

jailbreaking your pro will be the best thing that can happen to your pro, you can modify and adjust fan speed to prevent overheating, play emulators, play fpkg games etc

if you have 2 different USBs at least you can use 3.0 as an external storage while the one with the files can be 2.0 or higher So in all, you need 2 USB Drives for it to work

yeah, use winrar app or 7zip app to extract the file into one pkg file.

format it as exFAT the drives pkg games are on the one you want to use as an external USB for the ps4 insert it to ps4 and use the ps4 to format it

yes, if you want to use it for pc then go to My PC and right-click and scroll to manage, then scroll down to disk management and format the external HDD from there or download and install partition assistance software on your pc and use it to format the HDD

yes, you can but the games there are limited i have seen about two ps4 title games so i suggest you download from pc or phone then you transfer the files to a USB which is formatted as exFAT then you can insert it to PS4 and install them Again you can download the PKG Homebrew Store for PS4 if you like but the games there are not as better as the games you can download from ps4 archives or dlps game ps4

you must have two USB drive one for the external storage and another for installation, you cannot download games to your external ps4 storage and play directly, but you can install the games to the external HDD and play.
