1. Open the browser on your computer and navigate to www.thesims4.com.
2. Select EA app for Windows under Play for Free.
3. Select Download EA app.
4. Install the EA App on your PC and then login or create an account.

i know right! i’ve seen other application downloading tutorials for many apps but the intros last 3 minutes and i have to play the video again because the explanations aren’t clear. this is the opposite! the intro is 20 seconds long and actually explains what the video is going to be about unlike other intros that explain what the game is about and other unimportant stuff. and the explanations are very clear, i memorised them after watching the video once!

Please help me out here. EVERYTIME I try to download EA the same pop-up appears. It says, “Something went wrong… The EA app encountered an error and couldn’t finish installing.” WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! I really wanna play the game and this is seriously so frustrating.

ive had trouble too with the ea app, it would say im offline when i wasnt and wouldnt install. Try using Origin it is wayyy much better and loads a whole lot faster! Hope this helps

@@ykwtfgoo yeah! well, kind of. I think it happens when your device doesnt have enough storage or the device doesnt have enough room. i tried it on my laptop, it didn’t work, but when I tried it on my windows pc it worked. 🤷‍♀️

im on windows on my school laptop and i tried installing it, but when i opened the file it said "The EA app needs elevated permissions to finish the installation. Log into an administrator account, and try again." But the problem is that i dont know how to make an account, so could you please help me?

i have a question i bought a HP-14 Laptop and when I try to download the sims4 on the laptop it doesnt work. The main reason i bought this laptop was because i wanted to play on the laptop and get cc instead of playing on my ps5. But once i get to that page the EA one i try to do everything you do. Umm i happened to have some difficulties... When it finaly downloaded i got. TO my collection and didn't see it. I decided to go to download manager on the left bottom of the screen to see if it downloaded hopefuly.
