In this video I'm going over how to draft Disney Lorcana as well as some tips to improve your drafting!

I played in my first ever draft last night and tied for 3rd with a 2-1 record! (There were 10 total people and 2 finished 3-0). I used your B*LINKERS strategy with the exception (* = ooo that card looks awesome and I want a copy in my collection for future builds). The * picks were all 3 musketeers (which actually came in clutch!), Mother Gothel (I lost the games I played her lol), Mulan (also didn’t help), Lady Tremaine (never played her bc I didn’t have enough actions) and Galactic Hero Lilo (who did some good). My overall draft strategy was pick as much Evasive characters as possible and it worked! I landed a Kuzco (picking him over John Silver) and a Grab Your Swords. It was a blast! Thanks for the strategy tips :)

Awesome! Glad to hear it. Cool factor is definitely a part of drafting even if it’s not always the most competitive choice. I mean I’m not passing an enchanted regardless of what’s in the pack

I'm going to do my first live play/draft tomorrow. I'm currently cramming videos to try and not look like a total newbie. 😅 I don't actually know if I will know how to play well, but we all have to start somewhere. Thanks for your help!

Lorcana being a rainbow draft is pretty forgiving so just have fun and don’t sweat it too much. Let me know how it goes!

Evasive is really important as well. Its undervalued in the Blinkers scheme. My personnal mantra is the following : 1. Bomb. 2. Ink & Curve 3. Evasive. 4. Removal. 5. (2/3) Character for 2

I agree Evasive is good but your list is almost identical to mine minus Lore being omitted from yours so I feel like we both put it at about the same importance.

Limited is the best format out of any card game! So im stoked to draft

Our local store is doing a draft event with like 3 packs of Chapter 2 and 1 of Chapter 1, and ending with a 40 card deck. I also think we will not be passing around, everyone just gets their packs and builds… this is my first TCG so I don’t know much of anything. Loved your tips and acronym for building, I’ve been super nervous about drafting.

Would be more of sealed deck at that point than a draft. Can still use the BLInkERS method for building the deck though

Thx for the video. What happens at the end of the draft? What cards do you get to keep? The ones you drafted or the ones you pulled from your packs? If it is the first option you do not wanna open a “god” pack and just wanna draft the most expensive cards which doesn’t sound fun. Or am I wrong? If its the second and you pull a legendary or enchanted rare its just weird passing it on… I don’t know what to think. Lol. Can you help?😅

Hey thanks for asking, anything you draft to make your deck you keep. Because of that oftentimes people will take valuable cards over cards that may make their deck better. It is a trade off but I don’t think many people would be passing an enchanted rare no matter how good the rest of the cards are

We are having a set 2 draft at my lgs. They keep some product aside for that 👍 Also here (Belgium) there is enough product. The 1st set did sell out pretty fast but almost all people that wanted product got it.
