this helped greatly but with the HP webcam built in or the new Aoozi 1080p webcam the video settings did not give me th 16:9 ration ability for the enable HD. but it did help greatly. if you have any ideas on how to get those 2 missing options enabled i would truly appreciate the input

fantastic tutorial Thank you! question is there a way to zoom in and out on zoom video? I have HP Envy 34 with 16 MPixel which has preset 3 zooming options but they do not transfer to Zoom video app nor Zoom video has an option to zoom in and out. or does it?

All of a sudden my contrast/sharpness is out of whack when I go to Zoom. I just updated my zoom app, but the video issues persist. The look is flat and grey-ish, not as vibrant as was before. My wifi is strong, so that's not the issue and my computer/Mac is not old. Any suggestions other than the settings you put forth in this video? And why would it be fine one week and change the next?

What if Zoom's video is WAY overexposed (yes, I turned "Adjust for low light off")? Zoom is completely ignoring the exposure settings of my Logitech C920

How do you have different hd settings in zoom? I have the Logitech hd pro and I have none of those settings and all my video stats are all just dashes. No info.

This is a helpful tutorial but I think it doesn't solve it completely for me. I'm using the PS5 webcam, and with some drivers online was able to use it for the PC. When I use the stock Camera app on Windows PC, the picture looks great. But when I use it on Zoom or on Google Meet, I'm a black blob. Or with Zoom lighting settings turned all the way up, a black grainy blob. Any idea what's wrong, and why it looks great on one and not the other?

I just got a new Logitech 920 and trying to figure out how to adjust the Zoom in my camera within Zoom? It is very widescreen and not zoomed in at all. I see not control within Zoom to zoom in on me? Anybody got a clue on this? Even though I adjusted my camera in the Logitech controls, the Zoom meeting still shows me deep/far away from the camera...

Can you help with making sure we are recording our zoom videos at 29.97 frame rate. Ours keep showing up at 25 frame rate and our editing system Vegas Pro doesn't like it.

Using Zoom: My live video on the screen has motion blur. I made the settings changes you recommended and just checked my Fios internet speed and it says it is very fast. (111.5 Download, 92.6 upload). I am using a high end ASUS laptop's camera (Quad i7s,16GB Ram, dedicated graphics card, SSD drive, IPS display, etc). Any suggestion? The motion blur looks terrible. Most likely the built-in camera on your laptop is total garbage. That would cause the issue.

@@awalldigital I do have 2 Pro DSLR cameras for my photography business (Canon 5D Mark IV and 5D Mark III), but thought they'd be overkill for doing some Zoom meetings. I do also have a Canon 70D, which I don't use anymore, perhaps I should give that a try. I did download OBS and changed some settings (mainly exposure) so the stutter speed would speed up and not stay open so long, and the blur is gone, I will however need external lights because faster shutter speed, less light. I will give the Canon 70D a try and see if it's worth using. I'll check your lights you're using again. I didn't want to go too crazy as I don't really use Zoom often...Thanks. Phil

Don’t be fooled. It’s primarily the Lights that do the really good job here. The C920 or the C930e could do pretty much the same quality the Brio does, at least in 30 fps, if you light your footage properly, albeit with some tinkering needed. Don’t go and get a Brio, if your C920 does not come close to this quality, because with this light it’s a telltale sign your webcam settings are wrong.

I HATE ring lights because of the circular reflection in peoples eyes make them look like zombies! In your case that's not a bad look (LOL) because you have it far enough off center so its not causing that reflection
