🐸Hi, I'm Chommang.
This video is about sharing practice for drawing faces, especially for beginners. I hope those who practice consistently can draw together with me. By the way, this is not a process for drawing realistic portraits. Rather, it's a process of learning the proportions of a natural face through your own sense, not just using guidelines.

I'm always watching your videos but it's the first time i tried drawing along! I tried to spend less time on the details and just enjoy the process of drawing, and my sketch turned out really better. What is used to draw with really doesn't matter that much. Your hand, this is the part you should develop on How to control the lines and curves, when to add pressure and when to skip through... These things.

이 영상에 쓰인 스케치북은 파브리아노 15x15cm 입니다. 그런데 어쩌다보니 최근 시작한 얼굴 그리는 영상을 이걸로 했을뿐, 저는 거의 a4용지에 그림을 그립니다. 사실 이 스케치북은 드로잉보다는 수채화같은 채색에 어울리는것 같아서 저는 쓰면서 어려움이 있네요 ㅎ 지우개는 떡지우개라고 검색하시면 나올거에요. 그림도구 추천은... 제가 새로운 도구를 사용하진 않아서;; 매번 쓰는거 쓰는 중이라 언제한번 다양하게 쓸 일이 있다면 해보면 좋을것 같네요 :)

Sometimes i see people drawing the eyes aligned with the ears while other times i see drawings that align the brows with the ears like this video, is it just a stylistic choice and both are anatomically correct ?

It could be due to the angle of the face, the camera lens distortion, or probably also a style. I say just stick to something you can find good tutorials for, practice with those guidelines and then when you're well acquainted with drawing the face, you can decide what style you like. :)
