May I ask, what are you disolving the colours with?
@KirstyRebeccaFineArt
@KirstyRebeccaFineArt 2 жыл бұрын
I am using solvent or OMS (Odourless Mineral Spirits) The brand I am using is Art Spectrum Odourless solvent but this is an Australian brand! You can use most solvents that oil painters use such as Gamsol, Odourless Mineral Spirits, Mona Lisa Paint Thinner, Odourless Solvent, Zest It etc 😊

Also can we use any other thing than solvent?
@KirstyRebeccaFineArt
@KirstyRebeccaFineArt 2 жыл бұрын
I would only recommend using artist grade materials (some people suggest using things like vaseline or baby oil but they are not archival and have the potential to discolour your artwork over time) Another option if you are worried about the toxicity of solvent is to try Zest It (this is a more natural option for blending pencil) Hope that helps! 😊

No, they are normal coloured pencils that I am blending with solvent (the reason they look so vibrant when blended is mainly because of the paper I am using which is Clarefontaine Pastelmat) 😊
