I follow your instructions and even my illustrations look good. I always put "inspired by Shayda Campbell" because I can't take credit for them looking so good. I would love to have a tutorial on Baby's Breath (Gypsophila) It is often used as filler in bouquets but it can stand on its own too.

Gorgeous sketch! You always give such great suggestions about drawing flowers that I find tricky. I love the (relative) simplicity of the Dutch iris flower but the bearded iris is one of the most stunning blooms in the garden. I'd really love to see you have a go at the over-the-top ruffles and glorious colours in watercolour. 😊

Hi Shayda - I’m so happy you picked the Iris today. They are my favorite flower. Every spring when mine come up, I can’t wait to cut one and bring it inside. Some smell so good while others don’t smell at all. They are really a unique and fascinating flower. Next, a hibiscus would be nice to learn how to draw. Anything you choose will be perfect. This is beautiful. I am going to try my hand at iris flowers--i have several out of my kitchen window that are perfect inspiration. I like to use pastels for my drawings, but I love seeing your pen/ink drawings as I can transfer your method of starting with guide lines and adding shading very easily with pastel pencils. I also enjoyed the research that you shared about the shape...makes perfect sense to get to know your subject before drawing. Thank you so much for your guidance.

I love the simplicity that you use in your teaching methodology. You are a natural born teacher. I really enjoyed this video and many others...and was happy to see you do your self portrait. I am a crafter and love working with paper illustrations. It is so hard to find fun illustrations of people doing things and your tutorial was a jump start. This may sound silly, but I want to learn how to turn flowers into the heads of people as they did back in the forties and fifties. Some of them were so cute on top of cards. They had all of the illustrations of flowers as you do so naturally, but they also incorporated a few faces of children into the centers of the flowers. Silly...yeah I know...but I saw a card at an antique store and have become obsessed with it. LOL

I would love to see something "exotic" like datura (angel's trumpet) with the bright white flower and the spiky seed bulb that is such a contrast. (soft and white vs. spiky)

I LOVE your tutorials, but could you please make them less fast? Even when i reduce the speed it still feels fast. Besides the speed, your videos are great and your illustration is gorgeous!
