What's up with the roof line? The end gable is above the front of the roof. Am I missing something?

Maybe it's blocked by the foreground tree.

Great demonstration. What ink are you using in the orange Safari (or Jinhao copy) and what size nib? Are you using a cartridge or converter?

I use Noodler's ink, and the pen is a gift from a good friend, and it has a spiral straw.
