Just to make this clear and correct you on one of your last comments Kesh, I am a follower of yours but I am far from “young” lol, in fact I’m almost 63 years old and have been drawing since I could hold a pencil! Art, unfortunately, is not my career by trade, but I am ALWAYS LOOKING to learn! So keep that in mind you do have at least one old fart as a student. Grazie for all your efforts to help us!

I have an important question. I am doing a graphic novel but I can draw digitally, but not color, so I would like to pay someone to color. Where do I find painters and, since I haven't "patented" my work yet because I haven't finished it yet, can they just steal my work for themselves since they will have access to all the pages? Pls someone help me😢

I wouldn't worry about it at this stage. But still you sign an official freelancer contract to show that you are hiring someone to work for you. It's shows track. Plus you have have the person sign an acknowledgement that its your own the work if your work isn't legally marked. Honestly, not my expertise, so I would definitely google this:)

I mostly use a modified dry ink brush or the technical pen(For a more cartoony effect) for inking.

Thank you! Just the 6b pencil brush with less textures and dry ink for inking. Sometimes I use technical pen for inking like for the drawing in the thumbnail :)

Hey, In that case the next realistic thing to do is to find a mentorship or a program (offline or online) that offers you that specific outcome. You just need structure, deliberate practice and feedback with accountability. If you can fined these somewhere, go for it :) It doesn't have to be me, it can be anyone else.

Go out and just draw random people. Go to a park or something. Or if you ride a train. Just getting some sketches in I'm sure would be a huge help. Doodling. Anything. This is what I do. Most look terrible bc people are usually moving but it's great and constant practice. Or just Google images! Start with stick people. Then try adding the bean bag. Then try adding the cylinders. Then play with the volume perhaps:D all sorts of ways! Even tracing if you have to, just to understand it. (I don't suggest tracing all the time but on.some.parts you just can't seem to get right) may help you push forward. Just my few cents 😅
