Hi Kirsty What a brilliant tutorial on painting hair with pastels you explain it brilliantly it will be so helpful as i like doing portraits of ladies with flowing hair. Covid 19 made me get my art stuff out after 15 years information like this was not available so i am so grateful to you. To anybody just do it do not worry if it goes wrong at first just enjoy it. I think art is the most wonderful thing you can do. many thanks Albi

I watch your videos a lot Temi, you help me a ton! I am terrible at colored pencil work and really want to get better but it's so easy to set it aside when I get discouraged and to move on to something else since I have several sketchbooks and a handful of unfinished drawings and watercolors I can work on. Or .. I wind up watching endless videos and get sucked into a black hole of amazing art I absolutely love watching some to fruition but am nowhere near skilled enough to draw or paint yet. The endless cycle of why my sketchbooks are screaming at me to fill the pages! I know you're a huge fan of Rae (who isn't!?) so I wonder if you have had this problem before and how you broke free of it and became so great at your craft? I really am inspired by you and if you have any advice for me about that (or if anyone else does) I would REALY appreciate it. I need to get back to doing it on a regular basis...I started so late at 46 so I've gotta get step on the gas here!

Thank you for a wonderful demonstration. Your detailed explanation makes so much sense and I have no doubt it will work just as well for watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, gouache, and acrylic paint. This is a really solid approach to creating hair. Loved it.

Did kirsty ever try Caran dache Neocolor 2? I really like them. I have tried other mediums but I always come back to them, just big love. I think kirsty will also enjoy them as they than be in diffrent ways.
