In this video I show you how to draw like this legend!
Cause even so Marc Silvestri is a genius at work, his style has a few landmarks that are quite possible to mimic and thus it's possible to let your drawing look like one of his when done properly.

Huge Silvestri fan. He's been an influence on my art. Always on the lookout for his original art. Too bad he doesn't make it out to my area for comic cons, even before the pandemic. Great job capturing his style! Love your tips on how to draw like him. In his videos, Silvestri is pretty old school...he doesn't use fancy pencils, or equipment...just a regular wooden pencil, and multiliners. Thanks for posting!

Wow ive never really looked into Marc's work, but that really cool that he uses fineliners fir the inks. Its really my style of inking too, and cool to see the differences between that and the style you usually use, with the tombow

His hatching style is ideal for drawing characters in daylight or brightly lit scene and it adds a bit of texture.

Yea! Mark silvestri is such a great artist, and your drawing of Batman looks so good with bats in the background. I’ve always appreciated artists that have the confidence to just lay the lines down , and keep it loose and alive. I think Marc definitely has that habit. Great work Dok! Thanks for making another awesome video! So how soft of a pencil are you using now? I remember before you would always use a 2H. I found it makes sense on bristol paper but it tends to scratch up sketchbook paper.

Isn't billy tam a sculpture artist? I tried searching him and that's all I get. Now Michael Turner and Finch I know . Marc did not necessarily teach MT, Michael was an FIT fashion designer. His brother inspired him to draw comics. Then later refined his work with Marc.
