Tip, pour the dye into the container first… then use the water that you rinsed the bottle with and add it to the dye then add the boiling water. You won’t have to mix the lumps

Tried this after watching this video. I used about 6-8 cups of water and 1 box of hair color in a glass bowl. Dipped wig and let sit for 25 minutes per color directions. I put a ton of oil on the roots of the 4x4 front section of my lace wig. I did not submerge that section in the dye water. For that section I ran the dye water over that part of the hair with my hands so that the dye got on the strands only. It worked really well and my lace wasn't dyed.

Just bought a dye yesterday for my wig and it's my 1st time ever attempting to dye my own wig ...hope it also comes out great.

Danielle! How do I begin to thank you? My Natural hair is super straight Indian black hair. I had purchased a human hair topper to add volume that was off black and it is supposed to be darker than natural black. Even then this topper is brown on my jet black hair and especially outdoors you can see the mismatch like brown and black! I followed your steps to the tee and now the topper matches my hair! Thank you thank you! They really need to have a "Indian Black" as a colour option on these hair toppers and wigs.

How many boxes of dye did you use?

I did this and the hair came out sooo bomb! The only thing is I used boiling hot water and I believe that’s why my lace got tinted 😩 I put 2 layers of got2b hairspray but I think the boiling hot water was too hot and melted the hairspray away. But the hair came out beautiful

I recently bought some bundles & turned them into hair extensions but i have black hair & they're dark brown. I’m new to wigs and I hope you can answer my question - I was wondering if this exact dying method would work on a 613 blonde wig to get it to a certain brown color by a L’Oréal box dye? I desperately need a wig that matches my real boxed dyed hair. I purchase my first ever human hair black wig thinking I can get it to lighten with the same dye I used on my real hair but the color wouldn’t adhere to the wig and I don’t have any experience with bleaching or developer. I’m planning to buy a 613 blonde wig and hoping I can dye it to match the color of my real hair with the same box dye and would like to know if it’s possible to do. Thank you so much! ❤️
