gengar is one of those mons that are gonna be really good in draft, you see their team has like 4 squeashy mons? pick gengar and destroy them.

Eh, I doubt it. He still gets heavily outclassed as there are better mons in dealing with squishies. Plus, still has absolutely 0 mobility.

@@Just-J2 Also my problem with Pikachu. Thunder volt tackle is so nice, but without mobility volt tackle is suicide in more scenarios than it should be

@@cryptic4762 Imagine if Volt Tackle had a another, longer second hit that worked as a dash attack with great range and distance that you could use a mobility and escape tool, or even as a finisher

I feel like this is the ideal sort of way that speedsters should work. Hide, find your openings, get in, get out, if you get caught you’re dead. Chris is so proficient with everything Gengar does with this build.

Remember this build only works when their is no or very little stun and but if enemy team has pokemon with heavy stun then you are just as useless as when you chose zorarok and enemy has gravity clef and mean look umbreon saying this from experience

If anything Gengar is better vs stun than other speedsters. Sure he hates being stunned but unlike all the other speedsters in the game, Gengar has a ranged poke tool he can use to do some consistent damage and contribute *something*. Eventually enemies will get impatient and give you an opening.

@@sirensoulegaming4158 but there are many things when you use dream eater and it immediately got cancelled you teleport to enemy but it's entire team are there I am not saying gengar is bad in stuns but the thing is sometimes enemy team protect there squashy so well that you can't get an opening to attack them

@@sirensoulegaming4158 all I can say is that the teamwork of enemy team is not good to make gengar useless . In my games the defender or supporter or all rounder usually block my dream eater shadow ball and then the attacker or Speedster usually finishes me And also don't don't forget that cris is just built different

Stop fighting to kill late game, it gives the enemy more of a chance of uniting when they respawn near ray time.(not cris specifically, but this is something that must be known)

Yeah, Gengar definitely is great but hard as well. If you get a KO, then chaining it is how it goes.

Yeah some mon should really be lvl 7 on this point gengar machamp mamo especially if u keep in mind that the eevees exist who evolve all at lvl 4 get their upgrades at 10/12 and have unite move at 8 it's also not like that they are weak late game either it's just nonsense. So yeah make some evolve earlier and nerf all eevees cuz they deserve it tbh.

Gengars unite move you often want to use before a fight starts to get in undetected, not to do damage immediately. This is counterproductive to how energy amp works, it wants you to be doing damage instantly to get the full value out of it.

Nah, Night Slash is good and all but Pursuit is not only good but also fun to use with how CC heavy the meta is right now.

@@UltimateRaven bro pursuit is better in team games but in soloq it's a disaster. Becoz it is a gamble if there will be crit or not. And not gonna forget that it is only applicable to one enemy while night slash and damage to more than 1 enemy

@@ShauryaYonko Nope, not even close to what you said. Its actually better in SoloQ because there are ways you can get around it. Just because it's inconsistent doesn't mean it's terrible. Besides, its not that big of a deal if you don't crit as long as you get a backstab because at some point, you will get crits on backstabs. Besides, that's what Sucker Punch is used. It gives you more consistency with the backstabs and also, it can crit as well and besides, it can deal more damage to more than one enemy even though it's small.

@@karan9927did you see just how hard he had to work for those kos though? He had to do absolutely everything perfectly, including weaving those boosted autos in the right times to the right targets. More stacks makes it easier to ko enemies consistently. Like at the very end when he didn't quite 1 shot the clefable? If he had more stacks he would have done.

Don't make these types of videos, it is a very basic game that doesn't need you to explain who you have to kill. It doesn't even need a macro game, it's not like you're going to make money by playing well.
