Garden of genesis is located in the West of Edengrove and recommends at least level 60, offering two challenging boss fights with unique mechanics that we discuss here. Alluvium Marl, the Caretaker Abilities:
1) Flex Slap (1:00): Alluvium Marl ;will regularly target the furthest player, shooting his arms out at them dealing decent damage and knocking them down. Healers should be careful as should ranged dps. If Marl jumps backwards before casting, the tank may be able to bait this.
2) Muddy Grasp (1:15): Alluvium Marl summons a shadowy skull and claws that jump out of the ground dealing massive AoE damage. Dodge or position away from this as it cannot be blocked and can hit you multiple times often downing you.
3) Thornwall (1:35): During phase change at 66% and 33% health, Alluvium Marl will run to the center of the room, summon a rootwall (for 45 seconds) and begin channeling a party wipe spell. All players should follow inside the rootwall and prepare heavy attacks and crowd control abilities (stun, slow, knockback, knockdown, etc.). Adds will spawn outside of the rootwall and will need to be dealt with after it goes away.
4) Genesis Cap (1:45): Alluvium Marl will begin to summon white mushrooms called Genesis Caps after phase 2 begins and through the rest of the fight. These are easy to kill, and must be dealt with quickly or they will also cause a party wipe.
5) Submerge (2:30):Alluvium Marl will dive underground and commence a game of peek-a-boo! He will move very fast while submerged and leave behind a trail of blight. It is recommended to deal with adds or heal instead of trying to fight him in this state and avoid standing in blight for too long. Eventually the boss will emerge from lurking and can be simply burst down.
6) Summon Swarm: Alluvium Marl summons a green swarm of insects that target random players and deal AoE nature damage. It's not a ton but ticks very fast. Just don't stand in it OK?
