@Raceta's Club @Villam_TM TMNF and TMUF were both published in 2008. The game that was published in 2006 was TrackMania Nations ESWC (which didn't have this map).

Technically there still is a weird ass crash out of the track and back in strategy that could save a second or so. But honestly I prefer the perfect lines of Darkbringers record and Rollins aerial acrobatics here ^^

This is wayyyyy too satisfying. This game has been out for ages. Everyone's done a normal route, and shortcuts thought to be near impossible. But this trick is almost *too* simple to be true. But it's there, and nobody thought of it until now. And it looks extremely precise. It's perfect.

The reason why this trick only works on the first wallride is because, as the other reply says, the first wallride is pretty sharp. The fastest way to clear it is to shortly release before the wallride (as seen in DB's run) which is what makes Rollin's cut faster: He doesn't have to release. Whereas the rest of the map is fullspeed, which means that by jumping you wouldn't save any time. You'd actually lose some, because you'd travel the same distance but with air time.
