YOU ROCK!!! I bought Fallout 4 VR a couple of years ago when it was dirt cheap on Steam. Of course, I didn't have an actual VR headset until a month ago, when I bought a used Oculus Rift S. I'm sure people will tell me there are better systems out there but I got it cheap and I love it. Great visuals. Of course, all the information on modding V4VR was horribly out of date and for 3 weeks, nothing I tried worked. I've been a computer support geek for decades but never got into modding, so I had NO idea where to start. Your videos helped a LOT, especially the latest explaining how Bethesda's latest update to "improve" the game broke all the mods. Thanks to you, I successfully downgraded F4VR (i got an error message on 3 files the first time, but everything installed on the second try). Then I installed the Mad God classic mods (I wanted to keep the Fallout look and feel, not switch to Call of Duty). Your videos are very easy to follow. I can't even imagine how many hundreds of hours you spent trying different combinations to get this to work, but you did a great job. Thanks to you and to Mad God! I'M NOT WORTHY!!! :)

Well this fixed a ton of issues. Still having infrequent crashes when doing settlement stuff, a few mods don’t actually work, and absolutely no Cait mods work for me, but I’ll keep troubleshooting to see if I can get it figured out. I’m miles ahead of where I was before this fix so thank you so much for that! Any tips or advice on graphics overhaul mods would be appreciated. I add in tree mods like autumn or another pine forest, but all the trees despawn when I start to get close. I’ve tried to install older versions of the mods, but the problem persists.

Quick question is downgrading needed I watched your video on "How To Mod Fallout 4 VR Easily With Vortex Mod Manager And Nexus Mods In 2024" and it said you have to do this but when I check when it was updated last it was April 27 2018 for update 1.2.66.0 so was there a update that broke the game or not I'm confused

Hello have you used the project mojave mod in vr yet? Been trying to figure out how to get it functional in vr.

I tried this and im getting a "access to path denied error" i did extract it into the game directory folder

I'm trying to use this for Fallout 4 VR, and I keep getting the error message "Fallout 4 is not installed" as soon as I boot up the Downgrade by Downloading Depots file. I only just downloaded Fallout 4 VR today, so its a fresh install. I do have my Steam installed on my C Drive and Fallout installed on secondary steam library on my D drive though, no idea if that could be affecting things (although I did try moving locations at one point in my troubleshooting and didnt seem to help). Any ideas anyone?

on the downgrade it says it installed with 4 errors and then when i try to load up fallout vr through the mod organiser it gets stuck on a window saying mod organiser. also on the actual organiser there are a lot of mods with like hazard symbols etc

I did it, and it says 3 errors after the dowl. but when i check the data, nothing appears with DLC, help??

For some reason i tried everything and the downgrader and the mods say that fallout 4 isnt installed when it is and i put it outside program files and everything and it still cant find my game idk why im going crazy because of it

I am still having a problem where I go to launch the mad god pack from wabbajack and it launches the game for a second before the game closes itself like nothing happened. I ported the DLC over in the original mad god install and downgraded it after but the issue persists...

This did not work for me I still have 49 dlc files

hey sorry if im asking stupid questions but the game is laggy, even the vanilla vr is laggy, like really laggy, i had to downgrade the graphics into potato to make it playable, im maxxing the pixels on my meta quest app but with 72fps cap, i didn't change any of the resolution settings in steam vr , i have 3090 with cpu ryzen 7 75003d. and the game looks like vanilla fallout 4 vr even after the installing the mods successfully, how can i play with graphics inside the game, i don't know what to do. do i have to change the settings for my meta quest 3 pixels?
