Funny thing about the refined quartz is that when I started playing, I didn't know you could use quartz in a furnace, let alone fire quartz. I thought you had to recycle CDs and glasses in order to get it at first until I either looked it up, did it on a whim or a friend learnt it themselves, then I decided to put fire quartz in one time as a test.

The most underrated machine in the game wasn't mentioned! The charcoal kiln uses 10 wood to make 1 coal. In the midgame you can definitely use this when you have a mass surplus of wood!

The Linus quest to collect trash just go to level 100 in mines and fish cus u basically can only get trash or rarely lava eel

For fiber I personally like to repeat level 81 because I feel like there's more fiber plus you'll also get gold ore.

One additional tip: if you want to do Linus’ quest easily and are on the standard farm (other farm layouts besides river and beach I don’t know if this will work), just fish in the two ponds you have on your farm. You will only catch junk in them no matter the time of day or fishing level, so you can use some wild bait and just speed run this request

For fiber, you can also buy grass starters from Pierre and put them in a deconstructor

Whats nice is that for the linus quest trash in crab pots also count so accept the quest before collecting it.

gold bar for crystallariums = buy treasure hunter from willy and deconstruct them, 750 gold for 2 bars instead of 8k in ores/coals

You can get coal and hardwood at the same time in floors 41-50 of the dangerous mines. The bouncy mushroom guys drop coal, and there are often stumps, logs, and mahogany trees on those floors too.

Putting a treasure hunter, which you can buy from Willy, into the deconstructor will give you 2 gold bars.

You will also find the hardwood tree seeds in the stumps

For iron, you can buy a spinner for 500g and deconstruct it for 2 iron bars.

Floor 20 to 21 for copper is far more efficient than 10 to 11. Much smaller floor so you can see it all when you get on 21 and if there's not a lot of nodes just back out and reset. The problem with 10-11 is you either need to screenshot the floor and check that to see if it's worth the walk, or make that huge walk if you're on console (you can screenshot on console too but it takes longer to navigate to it and real time is just as important as game time)

Some fish ponds give ores like: Stonefish - copper Ice pip - iron Lava eel - gold Super cucumber - iridium (Octopus - omni geodes) 5 ores isn't much but it builds up over time. Plus you can make some profit with roes and geodes. For hardwood and coal, just hit floors 40-49 in dangerous mines. As usual, use burglar ring and monster musk. It's also good for farming bug meat. Floors 50-69 is optional because of that stupid green ghost. Bring some ginger just in case.

I have discovered my new way to farm coal but it requires the dangerous versions of the mines. Its a pretty mid-late game tip for such but the thing is... it boost the monster spawn rate even higher. I usually go to level 50-69 floors of the mines. I got prismatic shards and loads of coal from this. I say this was a great discovery of mine

1:40, For the Fibers: A sword with the Haymaker enchantment will drop more fiber than the scythe, as well as giving you hay for your animals from normal fiber plants, i always keep around a Haymaker weapon and a Bug Killer weapon

For geodes, you can use BlaDe's predictor to see which rock has a geode then reset the floor and look if that spot has a rock and break it, repeat this and youll get like 100-150 geodes a day

Linus' Community Cleanup was SOOO easy using the small pond on the farm. All you get is the trash items you need.

Only time you really need fiber is for the green donation in mr Qi’s grange quest… luckily while farming on floors 15 and 16 you can also look for bugs to give you big meat for the purple donation.

For stone I highly recommend the Volcano instead of the mines, every rock in the Volcano gives a bunch of stone per break compared to the Mines and Skull Cavern. I was not even trying very hard and amassed over 560 stone in a single game night just using some carefully aimed explosive slingshot rounds and my trusty pickaxe. Investing in bombs similar to the mines elevator loop technique would have probably been even better.

Alright, let's go over some extra ways for cash: 1: stingray fish ponds have a chance to produce cinder shards, about a 20% chance at max population if I'm recalling correctly 2: iridium ore is produced from super cucumber fish ponds at max population 3: blobfish produce pearls occasionaly at max population 4: lionfish ponds can make tiger slime eggs at max population Overall, fish ponds can make a lot of useful resources, another one that's negligible is that rainbow trout have a microscopic chance to make a prismatic shard, very cool

As someone who hasn't played for a couple years but just got back into it, could someone tell me what the "dangerous mines" are? Which mines are those? I know the usual mines, the desert mines, and the volcano mines, but what else am I missing? I want to find the iridium stuff. Also, I'm still plugging away trying to get my first Ostrich egg, but traveling back & forth between the main farm & ginger island farm takes up so much time before I can get started day. Is there a way to maintain my animals at the main farm without them getting angry for being left inside or not hand pet each day? Or is this why must videos I see never have people using animals at all?😅

My version of how to farm things is just to get as capitalistic as you can. You can find a way to trade your money into almost anything, or At least items that makes the grind incomparably easier. Does it takes shid tons of money? yep. Is it cost effective? not even close. Was it easy tho? 1000x easier than farming traditionally that is. Wood? Robin, farm? mega bomb. Stone? Robin, farm? mega bomb. Hard wood? mega bombing enough mahogany seeds would do. Fiber? tuesday desert calico trader. too lazy to farm? Robin. clay? We all knew what to do at this point. "clay farming", yes it got patched, yes it's easy to bring back. Any kind of ore? blacksmith. Like I said, this is a very capitalistic way to play. cinder farming? mega bomb. Refined/fire quartz? actually idk, I just forage them while farming for anything else. Spamming megabomb for magma geodes and going in and out of mines to reset the level seems to work just fine. Iridium and prismatic? Answered. Spam ur megabombs. Ancient fruit? Spamming seed maker. there's 0.5% of getting ancient seed when you use seed maker on ANY other crop that's not ancient fruit. So the best way to farm it is by spamming seed maker.

how do you not get boring in the game?

Bruh what, it's easier to get the money for explosive ammo than to grind the mines for it. Get a barn of pigs and you're getting over 100 ammo a day.

Bruh Iron aint important for me anymore, most of the time I always have like 700+ iron because is easy to farm iron. I am struggling farming copper then iron. Most of the time I just use iron for gold bruh.
