I've heard the best way to find the utilities is finding them with the gas line digging with an Auger. It let's the whole town know you found them LOL

Great video but higher frequency is actually a wider spread but less distance, good for jumping breaks in wires or tricky locates but can also jump to other utilities, lower frequency is tight and long good for sending your signal far.

What's your estimate on how far from the transmitter it will accurately locate?

Id say the longest line I have traced to date is 600' it did great and I didn't even have to up the frequency.

What is the maximum depth for locating using clamp and conductive?

It sends it's signal through the utility--I haven't had an issue with depth yet but I've only gone down about 4' so far.

Depends on where you live. Some places they'll come on your property and mark every living thing. Some places they'll only mark up to the meter or even stop at the property line. And they typically won't mark lines that you or a contractor have installed.

I like ur rex but the lower the frequency the longer the signal and the gas line at the end that ran both ways was a main not the service

Use clamp if it’s a conductive pipe. If not use the last method (induced)

Umm... So, how do you (we) know it actually knows where the cable is (unless you do a couple of trial holes to check, FCOL!)?!! All we can tell from your video is that you have a pretty yellow do-dad that makes some really entertaining noises... and therefore it's a 'no' from me.
