I could actually CRY. I have a mother who is extremely unkind and impatient, especially when it comes to cleaning. Your soothing and nurturing demeanor made ALL the difference and I just did my FIRST fitted sheet near perfectly. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

Hey, I just gotta say, I'm sorry you had to try and learn the basics most all of us learn, from your mother. It would be tough learning from someone who stressed you out like that. My mom, bless her heart, was a neat freak about her home and tried to teach me to be the same. Unfortunately, the "tidy gene" just wasn't in my DNA. She never ragged on me though. My own home wasn't ever dirty. But it was never as neat as Mom's was. (There's a difference between dirty and cluttered lol) I folded my family's sheets the best I could and shoved them into the closet. For some reason in December, Mom was on my mind one day while changing my bed linens. I challenged myself to learn to fold my sheets. I'm a gramma now and my wonderful mom has departed this Earth. I wanted to try and fix my messy linen closet in her honor. I wish you well. I hope your Christmas was great and that the new year brings you loads of happiness and a tidy stack of sheets! 🙂 God bless 💜

It’s funny I watched another video before scrolling down to hers. Couldn’t get it gave up and folded it anyway. See hers and she made more sense, the clarity in her words, and the visuals made it way more easier. I’m going to have to try this one again..

@@blankenstein1649it’s to say he’s not stupid :’) honestly this is the 3rd video I’ve watched, and this one did the trick for me. My issue had to do with which side of the sheet I was manipulating, and also the last step that requires holding the three corners and look for the other one to form a square. It’s an algorithm, follow it to the T and you’ll be good. Just pay attention to details.

Finally, after watching this twice, I can say at the age of 45 I can finally fold a fitted sheet without it looking like I've screwed it up in a ball. Thank you for explaining and showing it clearly. I've watched a few videos and this was the easiest to follow.

Thank you so much!! I’m a 14 year old trying to get my life figured out, and for YEARS I could not fold a fitted sheet. Even if my life depended on it, I simply couldn’t figure out the Witchery to folding it!! But, after watching this video as a last attempt, I FINALLY was able to fold it! I was able to properly fit it in my cupboards without it being a weird ball of mess! That's how I fold mine. Then I put it and the folded flat sheet inside the pilllow case to go in my linen closet.

Nice! I live in an apt. Bldg. And the dryers are such a pain, i take my clothes and sheets fold them wet, roll them if nec. And when i get back they are less wrinkled than just shoving them back in the basket til i get home.😊

Yay the rest of the steps, Thank you. I had the beginning outside corners folded together & then sorta made the rest up to resemble a square 😂. I agree it is harder with a King sheet, especially since I’m 5”, but you are a tiny thing too so I have confidence “I can do hard things” 😊 Your instructions are great.

My main issue is that you showed left handed and I'm right handed. I still couldn't fold it as neatly at the end, but I was able to come up with a way that looks a little bit like a folded flag. It looks better than when I just ball and/or wad it up!

Thank you! I kinda see what I've been doing wrong. My sheet folding seems to be a tribute to Salvador Dali. You can sort of see what the inspiration was, but it is its own interpretation of subject. Hmmm I get a triangle not a square but it’s better. I’ve got king sheets so not as easy as a twin or whatever you’re folding. Still your explanation and visuals did help a bunch. I’ll keep trying or not. I may just keep rolling them into a ball and shoving them in the closet. 😂

Thanks for the effort. I was following you until you said finish folding on a flat surface. I'm looking for a finish fold in the standing position without a folding surface. Like how the US Navy does bath towels. This might be why the military stays away from fitted sheets 😂.
