Sometimes you need to move heavy and bulky pieces of furniture away from an area while doing some renovation work in the house. You will see in this video, how I used large cardboard pieces to move medium heavy and quite bulky pieces of furniture away from a room, when I needed that room empty to replace the carpet with hardwood.

This was just what I needed. I have a bulky mechanical bed frame that is nearly impossible to move across the carpet and I need to move it outside. Thank goodness I have the cardboard box from the new bed frame!

Genius, I think I was more worried about you hurting your toes with your shoes. I save really old shoes sometimes to save on my toes and once I was really grateful I did since I avoided scrapping up the side of my foot from an unexpected piece of wood on the side. Thank-you.

Worked very well, just moved a very heavy piece, over carpet, and by myself. I just needed caution as to how and where to apply the pressure to avoid any damage to the furniture. Thank you!

I use an old thick blanket instead, to make sure that I don’t scratch my floor boards 👍

IT was great, but be careful....I would NOT WEAR flip flops or open shoes, I have been known to get my toes barefoot!! ;) jus' sayiing
