How to remove stripped screws or bolts with rounded off or stripped heads. When a screw head rounds off, it can be difficult to remove but not any more. Here I show you a brilliant tool that will easily remove rounded off screws or bolts due to the unique design.
No need to drill out rounded off screw now, simply use these pliers and they can easily be removed.
In this video I demonstrate using the ENGINEER NEJI SAURUS RX PZ59 Pliers and also run through some of the most significant features.
These pliers incorporate the unique patented jaw design which features vertical teeth which enables easy screw or bolt removal as well as interlocking horizontal teeth which aid gripping of smooth material.
The pliers are a must have item for any DIY'er or tradesman, I am sure that everyone would benefit from having a set of these in their toolbox and all for around 20 pounds - BARGAIN !

USA LINK Engineer Neji-Saurus RX PZ-59 Pliers amzn.to/2zotQKk
Japanese Engineer Neji-Saurus RX PZ-59 Screw removal pliers. These pliers are Top Quality and are a revolution in damaged screw removal. Removal of screws with damaged heads is now VERY EASY.
Quickly extract damaged screws, specialised screws - even tamper proof screws (screw head diameters 3mm~15mm)
Much easier to use than other screw removal tools - just grip & twist the damaged screw out!
specially shaped & uniquely serrated gripping jaws - unlike other pliers, these screw pliers won't slip (or slip off)
Innovative inter-meshed jaw teeth allows a firm grip on the thinnest of materials (shim etc.)
Equipped with powerful side cutting jaws (Steel wire - upto 3.2mm diameter)
Ergonomic oil-resistant TPR (thermoplastic rubber) grips for unmatched comfort
'T profile' forged handle (this design ensures the grips won't twist or slip off)
Constructed from Carbon Steel (hardened to HRC60±2)
Made in Japan (ROHS compliant)
As I have said in the video, they can be purchased through Amazon for £20.99 at the time of publishing - link to the pliers is here -

Great video Barry, Just waiting on my own pair today 👍🏻 I’ve just seen that they have a protective cover that Engineer are selling as an accessory, just wondering on your thoughts on that? I cant see much need for them myself because my veto bag will protect them enough I think.
@Bacrenfencing

I did see that protective cover but I would not use that. I do look after my tools but not to the extent where I need to cover them 😀 I am the same as you, these will be kept in Veto bags where they will be fairly protected anyway. Thanks for the comment and I am sure you will love them ! 👍

Thanks for the comment Yolanda. I have no experience with the PZ64 pliers, so I can't really comment on those. I will say that if you buy the PZ59 pliers, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for the comment 👍😀

I'm thinking of buying the pz-58 or pz-59 are they as good as they claim . I want a heavy duty for cutting 10mm cable . Etc ..etc . Ps ..could you maybe do a comparison on - impact / driver bits Dewalt; wera; milwaukee. They all claim there great ...🤔 Thank you stay safe .👍👏
@Bacrenfencing
@Bacrenfencing 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I can only speak for the Engineer Neji pz-59 pliers and YES, they are as good as they claim for REMOVING SCREWS. I cannot verify that they would be good at cutting 10mm cable though as I have never tried. I tend to use Knipex mini bolt cutters for anything that heavy amzn.to/2ZetNK5 I only use dewalt impact bits and have not felt the need to use other brands. WERA bits are supposed to be really good, but they are very expensive........yes, I may do a video on that in the future ! 👍😎

@@Bacrenfencing well mate they arrived and straight away I'm slightly suspicious as they don't have engineer stamped into the handles and they all seem to apart from mine. I bought a pair from Amazon. I don’t recall the model # but they were smaller than the green ones you show. Unfortunately, they didn’t work to get a slotted screw out of a faucet. (It looks like the low profile one you were trying to remove.) They just couldn’t get a grip on the rounded head. I used PB Blaster, heat, and Engineer pliers. Nothing has worked. I sent them back.
@Bacrenfencing
@Bacrenfencing 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I have not had any issues with these, they have been really useful. Maybe the model you had were too small ? These are the larger ones shown here.

@@Bacrenfencing : I’m going to order the larger pair and give them a try. The screw is still stuck in there! 🤬
@ClickClack_Bam
@ClickClack_Bam Жыл бұрын
@@leeb.7188 I know this is a year later & you've obviously dealt with this situation, but for others reading this I just wanted to throw in what I've done for stubborn screws. I've had 100% success with taking a Dremel & simply cutting a slot across a stripped out screw. Unless you've stripped it out like a maniac, you'll still have space to cut the slot into the screw to then use a slotted screwdriver to remove the screw. I've never had this method fail for a stripped out screw. Now for a busted off screw head this won't work, but generally if the head is busted off you can remove whatever it was holding together & attack the left over screw part...
