The users' manual is absolutely not clear. It talks about using the "multi-information display". One would think that the central screen with all the navigation, settings, etc is this "multi-information display", as it describes it perfectly. The manual doesn't say that there is another information screen where you can adjust many other things. So, this video was extremely useful for finding the damn buttons the manual talks about. Thumbs up given, of course, but may I suggest something? -- You should start your video with the stuff you show excellently from about 2'02" and tell about how to use the buttons following this. My problem mainly was that I just couldn't imagine where this "display" might be. And maybe you could up the volume on the video a bit. Sorry, if that's too much. Excellent and useful video anyway. It solved my problem in a minute.

Further to the comment yesterday, I went out again today and the box with the diagonal was gone and the option to reset was there. The only logical differences were that I had done another 6 miles or more likely I still had the engine running as I fiddled. Due to yesterdays button pressing I had inadvertently switched off the parking aid beeper and backed into a bollard, never rains but it pours!

We had this problem,it turns out that we had two different brands of tyres (one was a lot newer than the other) on the front axle,so we took it back to the Honda garage we purchased it from,and as we had only had the car just over a month,they put two new tyres on the front free of charge,and so far its been ok.

Hi thank you for your comment. Thank could be a possible cause of the warning light coming on as I believe it is not the tyre pressure that is monitored but the change in rotational speed.

@@transitvandoors Well if you think about it,a tyre on one side of the axle has done 9000 miles,they go and stick a new and different brand on the other side of the axle,with 0 miles on it,its going to test a already very sensitive system out.When i was there i asked i bought a spare and a jack kit,would they be able to turn the warning system off no was the answer !

I keep getting a warning for a compact spare replacement tyre coming up after having replaced a tyre with a slow puncture with a new regular tyre. I've tried to reset this warning in the menu but it keeps popping up after I go over about 45mph. Any ideas on how to reset this warning? Thanks.

I followed both the manual and on here, they are the same. I get to the two boxes icon, press select and I get two boxes with a diagonal line through them, as if the setting is disabled. Modern cars are ok but it would be better if the settings were there as specified in the handbook.

Hello, for anyone experiencing this problem, I found the solution was to make sure the handbrake is up. It seems the system will not let you in unless the handbrake is applied.

If my tires are all set on 30 and not 32 ia this enough to have the warning light come on,Ever since i have had the car the warning light is more or less permanently on i do the initialize trick all the time but within a few miles down the motorway its that usual bing sound and she is back on yet again, I assume one of the sensors in the tyre has broken down ,The car has done only 13000, and is only 3 years old ,have you any advice ,
@transitvandoors
@transitvandoors 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Peter, thank you for your message. I am no expert but as I understand it, the monitoring system does not actually measure the tyre pressure, but monitors the wheel rotation. So any tyre that looses sufficient air will affect the rotation speed and trigger the warning, so i guess 30 or 32 does not make any difference. As for the warning coming on all the time, may indicate a slow puncture or faulty valve if there is a genuine loss of tyre pressure. The only other thing I know is that the system does need some road time straight after it is re set to register the new setting. Hope this helps,all the best and Merry Christmas. Robin

@@transitvandoors Thanks so much for taking the trouble to write back, No there is no constant loss of air pressure and i do check from time to time especially if i am doing a long run like yesterday to Sidcup from Newark. Its been like this for a very long time so assume a tyre sensor is broken in some way, when i mentioned it to honda, they said well we're not sure if it is under warranty, and expected some massive bill so never bothered,i replaced it one tyre and year ago and he said its all good we have fixed the prob for you, But as per usual,i drove it down the A1 to Grantham and sure enough bong, its back so we just live with it, Thanks again Merry Christmas to you, cheers mate.
