You just saved my laptop. I was in jeopardy of having to buy a new one because the Microsoft help people were useless! This video was made in 2017 but still works in 2019, and since it’s near the end of the year, will likely continue to work. I’m not tech savvy so idk, but either way, thank you so much! Without my laptop I would lose all kinda of design commissions I can’t do on my phone.

Dummy me - Bought a brand new HP laptop, chose a hardcore password and forgot the password. wtf! Laptops nowadays they don't come with anything anymore?! not even a recovery disc!! Everything works right until it’s resetting after I hit troubleshoot and stuff but the. It brings me back to where I was and says “ This username or password is incorrect “

Resetting the password for win 10 is easier than win 7.You should mention in your video that this is a system recovery, not a password recovery.

This helped out a lot, i was locked out of my laptop after windows updates version 2004. The damn update did something, to prevent me from logging in.
