Learn how the pro's run low voltage wire under a sidewalk to continue a landscape lighting plan beyond a pathway that blocks your wire run. This same system can be used for any type of wiring or irrigation system that requires you to go below a sidewalk.

00:00 Introduction
00:07 - Step 1: Lay down Tarp and push mulch to the side
00:15 - Step 2: Dig a hole on both sides of path
00:30 - Step 3: Expose side of the pathway
00:39 - Step 4: Prepare drill and flexible auger bit
00:50 - Step 5: Start Drilling
01:17 - Step 6: Prepare and strip wire
02:03 - Step 7: Tie exposed wire to auger bit
02:26 - Step 8: Pull the wire through the hole
03:00 - Step 9: Put the dirt and mulch back

This saved me the work to get PoE network cables past the curb, so I can run LPR (licence plate recognition cameras) out near the curb. This made it very easy! 🍻

This video gives me an idea how to pull a 120V line under my walkway, thanks. I am concern the thick end of the cable will make it difficult to pull.

Hello - we are using low voltage landscape wire in this video, we would recommend consulting an electrician when using higher voltage wire. Generally, if you are pouring cement over top of anything - you want to be sure to use conduit so you can make any needed needed repairs.
