My drivers test was today and my parents had refused to take me practicing before it so I had watched a ton of parallel parking videos but they were all VERY confusing. This one was incredibly easy to remember and I had parked perfectly on my test especially where it was my first time doing it. I PASSED!!

I am blind in one eye with horrific depth perception. I watched this video nonstop - for an hour (I couldn't practice - could only rely on these videos - prior to this I could never parallel park period) and I PASSED my test! I paralleled perfectly! Thank you. You rock! ♡

Just passed my road test and im commenting this on all the videos I watched to help me pass. Thank you so much for your help. Getting a license especially in New York (where im from) is a huge deal when you live far from public transportation. So thank you for relieving the stress I had for years about it. Message to the test takers, Do not focus on the instructor or whatever they’re doing when you’re taking your test. Just listen to their directions, pay attention and focus on the road. The test is really short and simple, there is no tricks or gimmicks. Good luck!

To prospective test takers: make sure you know what will be on the test (different places test different things) and practice, practice, practice! If you practice and have confidence, you'll do fine.

I'm an instructor, and you are one of the few on the net who gets it RIGHT, I was teaching after being a testing officer, and I teach exactly the things that you talk about LOL , I was happy and surprised to find someone that can actually DRIVE and teach correct methods, after wading through endless bad vids from instructors on youtube. ive successfuly done this 2 times in total in my life (between actual cars). first time took about 10+ adjustments. second time i followed this videos instructions and did it verrry slowly; it was perfect. only things i need to work on is judging how far away i am from the car behind me while backing up at an angle AND judging how far my front bumper is from the car in front of me (both angles felt way to close but i was a good distance away)

Just passed my test! No driving lessons beforehand from a class, I practiced all through my parent's. (I do not recommend, though it did teach me patience) As well as binging videos. This one in particular helped me a ton, and even though I messed up on my first attempt, the examiner showed me mercy and let me try it again and I did it perfectly. Good luck everyone!

Used this technique for the parallel parking part of my road test! And it was effective! I passed thanks to your vids too! Got 10pts tho cuz the examiner told me so sudden to make a left turn when we were already near at the stoplight (road has 3 lanes)

Thank you SO much for this! This is the method I’ve been practicing and used on my driving test which was today… I think I nailed it! But here in NY they don’t tell you if you pass or fail afterwards. You have to wait until 6pm and check online ughhh

Parallel parked for the first time on my driving test today and got it done safely and properly,I did have to reset 2 times but I got it on that third try pretty well,also gotta 91 onnit,this video along with many of his other videos helped me A TON!!! I like the way you explain by giving us reference points. The problem that I’m having with parallel parking is that I get nervous when I back up because I can’t tell if I’m too close to the car that’s behind me. It would be helpful to see a video on how to judge the distance of the car behind me, and also the car in front of me when parallel parking. I can see with some difficulty the distance of the car in front of me, but the distance of the car behind me is harder to judge.

I find some great tips for parking thanks for that. Although in my country it is foridden to turn your steering wheel to the left after alligning, let alone dry steerign. you'd have to parallel drive backwards until the backseat/middle of back window alligns to the bumper or edge of the car then you steer all the way in. then either steer back when the bumper is the middle of your front window or use the side mirror to see the car behind you.. back up until the curb a little and steer in as your right mirror levels with the back bumper.
