Here is my Sisterlocks braid out results. I will show you my 3 favorite hairstyles.
I made small, 17 plaits total, and left them in for four days to air dry. Since my hair was freshly washed, and I was on vacation, I left the plaits in longer. I am excited to say that this braid out hairstyle will look great for two to three weeks. I only used Shea Moisture leave in conditioner before plaiting. Not only that, but I used coconut oil for the take-down.
If I wanted to spritz my dry Sisterlocks with water and plait my locs, they would dry overnight. No setting lotion is required.
