i think i’ve done something to the pink in my wildstar pallet (used a wet brush maybe?) that has made it not really pick up (brush or finger) any color. just a bit of shimmer. any advice on how to fix it? should i try a mixing medium or will that just mess it up more?

It might be hard pan. You can use tape to remove it or rub the hard pan off gently with a paper towel or spoolie. Hard pan is basically the eyeshadow sealing in on itself so it's difficult to pickup color.
