Janette, I never leave comments on videos, but I had to give you a shout-out. Your tip on using double stick tape, along with sticky back stabilizer SAVED MY LIFE!!! No matter what I did, my registration was off at the end of my design because the lining fabric on the backpack I was working on are too slick to keep the backpack in place. The zippers on the backpack made it so that I couldn't use clips to hold the backpack in place either. I was about to give up and tell the customer I couldn't complete their order. Then I found your video--what a lifesaver! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Stevie.

I enjoy your videos . Can you do a backpack video using your single needle machine? Also, more videos using the single needle machine? It going to be a while before I can afford a multi needle machine.

Hi Adriane. Yes I can definitely do more videos in the single needle. Multi needle machines are very expensive. The backpack can be very tricky to do on a single machine. You will have to float it and make sure it doesn’t shift while embroidering.

A trick I learned from someone is to put painter's tape on your frames (that stays on) and your sticky stabilizer comes right off with no messy frames to deal with.

Hi Marian. You are never too old to learn.. Single needles are great. Just can't do these bags. HOWEVER!!! You CAN create a patch and place it on the bag!

Thank you for doing a book bag, I am getting ready to do my first one. The only thing I have a single needle sewing/embroidery machine. Also I was wondering how the inside was suppose to look. I caught a glimpse on the lunch box, so I assume you just tear away as much as possible & leave the other intact. I just found you channel & will watch more as I adventure to new projects. Again, thank you.

My min. charge is $15.00 an item. It goes up from there depending on the job.

Hi Jeanette. I embroidered my 5 year old granddaughters backpack. I told her to pick the thread color. She couldn't pick so I picked the color that looked best. Of course she wasn't happy and hates it because it is not "rainbow". So ungrateful' that little stinker!

Question.. do you find that the inside insulation kind of cuts away on the inside? Any tricks to from doing it?

I haven't had any issues. Because the insulation is plastic I don't recommend ironing any tender touch on it. If you can find some type of adhesive covering that you can just apply might work.

Hi Lillian. Yes I would do this the same way. Make sure to slow down the machine. The bags are thick.

Was the pocket on the lunch bag insulated? I could not find any that didn’t have insulation foam between the layers.

Hello, great video, however it is not safe to place children’s names on things where strangers can read it. The reason is it allows a stranger to know your child’s name. The child will assume that the grown up knows them and are way more likely to go with them. This info came from our police department.

Cute idea. However, putting the child's name on the backpack is a dangerous idea. This has been used by strangers to approach children and call them by name. Please be careful.

Yes 2LearnMore I agree with your concern. I fell the same way with the Birthday shirts with the name. They are cute but you have to be careful. I prefer the initials. I like the monogram.
