So is there no actual folder named "trash"? I have an android and I delete a picture or video my phone says "move to trash?" Or "permanently remove from trash?" I dont understand.

Actually, modern phones temporarily delete files (maybe it just applies to images, I'm not sure) and permanently deletes them after (I think) 2 weeks.

Definitely worked. I was able to remove almost 800mb that was otherwise invisible to the rest of my phone menus. Thanks for the help

MY PHONE SAYS AFTER I HIT DATA IT SAY DUE TO ANDROID RESTRICTIONNS OF THIS FOLDER CAN ONLY BE SHOWN ON A COMPUTER I HAD WAS TO TYPE IN SEARCH FOR EVERYTHING YOY SAY TO GO IN ITS LIKE THEY HIDE EVERYTHING FROM US SO WE CANT GO INTO

Photos and other things deleted dtay for 30 fays before permanently removed, so there has to be a folder that actually says "trash" where these are held. Can anyone explain it clearly for me?

so when I delete text messages I still have to go into the 'trash' bin & delete thr trash, I'm trying to find out if 'phone history' is same ? or when I delete calls from history, there is no 'trash' bin ? I hope I ask that correctly & thx for ur time/help

Help me, it says because of andriod restrictions, the files of this folder can only be shown on a computer....and idk why. Please help me fix this for my trash files to be deleted on my cellphone? Thank u in advanced.

At April 2020 Android phones empty the recycle bins after 60 days. I just wish this guy didn't speak with such a thick Indian accent because what he says is very helpful.

@Michael Hopkins you should travel more, see the world and experience. There is so much Outside your “world”. You’ll be surprised to know that the rest of the world speaks different languages and that’s where accents come from 😉
