Sometimes going to BIOS is the only option, but definitely not the first one you should try :)

If you want to make a virtual machine, is Hyper-V required?

Not necessary Hyper-V but you do need some kind of hypervisor for this. There are quite a few options including completely free ones like VirtualBox

i’ve been trying to do this for a while. i’m trying to play geometry dash 2.2 with blue stacks and i can’t use it without virtualization and this doesn’t work and other stuff needs cpu features. do you have any other recommendations?

If it's just the case of enabling virtualization you can do it from BIOS as well, I have a video on the channel around this topic. Another option is to just let it go and play another game ^^

Still can't play the games, in my case didn't find hyper V but found other opción call Windows Hypervisor Platform don't know if it the same but I also tried it and didn't work

Actually sir I mean to say that when I go in control panel and go to the option of feature at there I didn't get the option of hyper V. There is only one option regarding that virutalishing the machine, so I had able it but there is not the option hai of hyper V. My laptop is window 11 HP rhyzen 3With AMD. OK sir, I hope you will se my problem and tell me. Thank-you sir

If you don't see the option that I have in the video it means that you are on Windows Home edition and that's unavailable for you. The only other option you can try is to turn on Virtualization from the BIOS

Enabling virtualization in Windows allows your computer's processor to create and run multiple virtual machines (VMs) simultaneously. These VMs act like separate, isolated computers within your physical computer. In most of the cases here I believe people are using it so they can play mobile games on Windows

That’s something new, I would probably look into bios settings first as it may turning it off by default overwriting any existing setting

It's a bit yes/no question. I would turn on virtualization on Windows first and if this doesn't work then turn it on in BIOS as well. You can find detailed videos about how to do it on my channel.

If it is, it's just the case that you need to be administrator on your machine

This option enables the possibility of having the virtualization on your machine but technically it's not a hardware virtualization yet, it's a prerequisite to install whatever program you may have in mind to use virtualization, hopefully, that makes sense. If this doesn't work for you I would check BIOS settings, you can find a video on my channel (normal video not a short) around this topic or just google it.

Take out your CMOS battery and insert it back it after 10 seconds or so, this will reset the BIOS. Not gonna give you a guide on how to do it as it depends on the desktop/laptop model you are using. You should be able to easily google it

That's a little of yes and no here. You don't have option out right in Home edition yet you can enable it via cmd/registry settings. All of the Pro settings are in the Home edition, they are just hidden

Sure it is, if you are not using VM you don't need it at all nor any programs that are running on Windows
