I'm always looking for reviews by owners and how they use their cars daily. How do you get the most out of such a great sports car? Here is a review of my car and how I find enjoyment in driving it.

This was an excellent, proper review! Not enough owners daily drive or review these awesome machines. I daily drive mine, and now have owned 2 991.2 (Base and now S) and love it! Owned many cars over the years, and nothing compares to a Porsche 911.

@@bak2mb Well - I wrecked my base (my fault not the car), and found an S to replace it. Overall like the S more as it has more options included, and the turbo propeller is larger (more boost) though the turbos are same size. About 2psi difference in boost (stock or tuned when done right).

Man I’m loving this real world day to day review. Not just the highlights all the high budget car reviewers do over and over. I want to know what it’s like actually driving and you have done that well. The helmet camera is great too, so much better than those stupid reviews where someone films THEMSELVES talking for 10 minutes. Although I don’t have a Porsche yet you’ve inspired me to drive my toy more and clean it less!!

Great video. Have a 2017 C4S that I picked up 7 months ago. Live is Colorado and have been able to drive it in the winter almost the entire time. Mostly enjoy drives in the mountains on the weekends. This makes it special to wait for the entire week to drive it. Haven't put winter tires and only drive it when roads are dry and above 40 degrees. I absolutely love this car.

I liked his perspective too. I have a 991.2 C4S with Powerkit (GTS motor) and I don't use it very much. I find myself eating potato chips and just staring at the car in the garage for hours. I end up driving my Yukon XL Denali cause I need the carrying capacity. When I do drive it, I believe that is the reason we are put on this earth. The experience is amazing. Kinda like when your kid does something unselfishly.

So well done thank you for this user POV instead of a tech review that we, like all 911 lovers know, is comprehensive and see on 99% of other reviews. Hats of for this version and your excellent head cam? I am assuming this is a RWD vs. C4 and you don’t mention where this is shot but guessing US Mid or East? Perhaps not a lot of snow. I’d recommend Michelin winters for 2 reasons. 1. That they handle better in cold temps so as you Summer tires harden, Michelin Winters are softer/grippier and 2. Your Summers last longer than 10,000 Mi. Since you are switching them out. I yearn for a 991.2 alas the chip shortage means used 911’s are up 30-40% in price year over year - sadly like all used cars for now. Thanks and enjoy! - BP in Toronto

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a comment. I live in the Midwest. Snow on the ground only for 1 or 2 days usually. I might try the Michelin winter tires that you mentioned...the other winter tires felt too squishy with no road feel. Good luck on finding your perfect car. You are right the chip shortage is a pain...even camera lenses are on back order!

You're probably smart not to jump on the first year of a Porsche car with a lot of electronics. I bought a 2020 Taycan 4S back in June. Although it is a blast to drive ("800 Volts of Goodbye") it has had more than its share of electrical problems. Not so much in the driving components, but more in the "Infotainment" software. I have heard that the car was rushed to the US market in December 2019 as a requirement of the Dieselgate settlement, and if that is true, it would explain all the 'bugs.' However, I am confident that Porsche will eventually get everything sorted and update the software. I also have a 2017 911 S Endurance Racing Edition and I thank you for a good review and a nice drive. I even learned something (coast mode)!

Nice real world review. I love the non-standard narrative. The Sports Exhaust is awesome and definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I think your tire pressure is too low and may be contributing to your early tire wear as they may be running hot.

Back in the 80's, my uncle had a 930 Turbo and he used it as a daily driver. He always said that Porsches are more likely to give you problems if they're kept mostly in the garage. Porsches are made to be driven, not sit inside like a piece of furniture.

@@carminered3229 Indeed! I'm looking to possibly get a 911 Carrera S in 2022 but I'm debating whether to get the S or 4S. I live in the NE USA but will likely be moving to the south. I like the idea of the extra grip from the 4S even in warm weather but it seems like these newer RWD 911 have a lot of grip and stability, unlike the "widow makers" of the past.

@@chunkwobbler2544 Absolutely, even the rear wheel drive cars have exceptional grip and in my experience are a little more fun as you could get the rear out controllably if you want to and steering is a little more purer.
