For two years my Seiko SKX 009 laid in a dark box. But this summer I decided to bring it back in rotation. And since I bought a new Strapcode luxury after market bracelet my love for the SKX is restored.

Either that’s a very old seiko jubilee or it’s from a different watch. My jubilee has solid links and a thicker clasp. It’s still jangilee but very comfy

Upgrade the movement to an NH36 so you can hand wind.

the good thing about the original Seiko Jubilee bracelet is the weight . It keep the watch light and is very comfortable on the wrist . The Strapcode Jubilee strap is heavy duty and looks better , however you will end up with a heavy feeling watch on your wrist .

I like the original jangly jubilee bracelet. It’s very comfortable. The rattle can be annoying sometimes but not enough for me to want to spend so much money on an aftermarket bracelet. I usually wear mine on a nato now anyway.

I've been using Strapcode bracelets on my Seikos for years now. They are the one big reason I still wear my Seikos, especially my 009 and my PADI Turtle. I've even upgraded my Zelos Mako with a Stainless Steel endmill from Strapcode, of course that was before Zelos started offering bracelets of their own. Keep up the good work, I'm enjoying your videos.

Thanks very nice review on bracelet. My 38mm SKX013 has strapcode super jubilee and CT double dome with AR crystal. The best two upgrades I have done imho. Mvmt I like to keep them original on all my seikos (SARB033, Turtle, SKX, SPB059, 62MAS). I love the basic 7s26 movement too especially more now with seiko discontinuing and replacing it with the 4r36 on all seiko 5. I got it regulated to less than 10 sec daily and its been running like that last 4 months with regular use. The SKX and 7S26 is a modern classic!

I’m getting an angus jubilee from strapcode for my Seiko Turtle, I don’t wear it as much as when I first got it. I want to fall back in love with it haha

I have the Orange SKX(011j) on the Angus Jubilee, Love it! But my bezel action is nowhere near as smooth as yours!

Thanks for sharing this fantastic upgrade. But the old bracelet is not the original Seiko Skx, because the original is not with folded links but with full links (the external ones, the internal ones are folded)

wait, what you were showing is not even the original jubilee for SKX. It should have solid outer and middle links. Your bezel insert looks off too.

indeed that original bracelet is horrendous. I saw that 3d bracelet on the internet but i wasn’t sure how good its after that video i think i’ll give it a try
