Escape ELO Hell and rank up much faster by embracing a new training strategy...
In the Olympics of 1908, a diver barely avoided serious injury while attempting a double somersault dive. After the incident, the double-somersault was considered too dangerous - and was almost banned from all future Olympics.
Today, the double somersault is an entry-level dive, with 10 years old nailing it in competition. But it's not like 10-year-olds today suddenly have more athletic talent than the Olympic professionals of 1908. So how is this possible? What advantage do 10-year-old drivers have today that puts them ahead of these Olympic athletes?
Well, the advantage that these 10-year-olds have is the same advantage that high-level gamers have over you.. and this advantage is.. how they train.
Young drivers today have the advantage of more sophisticated training techniques, allowing them to progress their skills much quicker than those athletes in 1908. Likewise, those players who seem to effortlessly climb the ranks, without ever getting stuck in ELO hell - have better training techniques, or to put it simply - the way they practice allows them to develop their skills more effectively.
But more important to note is that the typical way we develop our skills, and likely the way you’re currently developing your skills - is extremely inefficient. It's a recipe for hitting a skill ceiling, forcing you to get stuck in a lower rank.
Luckily there is a much better way to go about it. Like the 10-year-old divers of today, you can accomplish amazing feats in a short amount of time. You can smash through the skill ceilings that hold others back, and you can achieve mastery much faster than you ever thought possible. And to do this, all you need is the right technique.

Things to take away: the ye olde method of learning then practicing until comfortable and then doing it over an over again is not good if you want to improve further. To improve further you need to adopt a practice method that involves setting a practice goal, focusing on the practice, having a response to said practice, and challenging yourself out of the comfort zone. And you have to be determined to do that and have fun while doing said practice.

This video helped me climb. As well as your others. Within a year I reached in OverWatch, Bronze to Masters and my honest goal is too become a pro OW player and these are actually plausible, I practiced headshots with each character mastering them every moment I had and it blew me away, thanks, to be honest. I feel like I could be top 500 and more.

Finally it worked out, I am playing better, I can finally climb ranks much easier in csgo when it comes to Matchmaking or ESEA and I just still have that excitement and willing to get better and better. Watching this video is a MUST for everyone wanting to be a pro in any game.

This is a great video! I am an Amateur Rocket League player who has gotten so close to the top but always fell short. This new season I seem to be stuck at the same rank as I started the season and can not seem to grind higher. I really think this video helped my mind set on how I train. I realize the importance of it now and want to thank you for opening my eyes to this. I hope that if I spend the next week training for a little each day that I can achieve my goals by the end of the week. So thank you truly.

it's very interesting this is just the confirmation on ''flow'' I mean those videos you make are awesome! Like I get to understand now why I'm in the rank I'm currently in and why I make progress and why I dont make progress. Funny thing is i wanna get better in league but when I hear you talking my brain automatically links it all to osu because it's much more simple to implement the thoughts in my growth in this game, osu is also the game I'm starting to play to get in a state of flow and it kinda works xD

When I was learning a new champ in league I would usually go like 2/15 in the first few games, and my mates always told me "stop going all in all the time, play passively, don't try to kill anyone" but the thing I've always told them is "I'm just testing my limits" Playing like a coward when learning a new champ WILL NOT benefit you, going all in and testing all of the champs limits WILL benefit you so much more, I've learned this from a starcraft player a few years ago and IT IS SO TRUE.

I sometimes feel like I’m limited by my hardware when I try to improve my skills, If I am too aggressive or lots of things happen at once my computer freezes for like 5 secs which loses me gunfights and forces a more passive play style.

YO!!! I relate to this. I play Siege at fairly low settings because my laptop can't handle high or decent graphics. I play at 1354*768 resolution and I can't see players who hold pixel angles. Increasing the resolution to 1920*1080 decreases frame rate to 45 and lags. I believe I can play better if I could afford better spec PC.

But I guess I'm too late since I just bought the game last November 2017 (but I've been playing CS1.6 since I was 5 and CSS since I was 12, only bots though, expert difficulty, never been in LAN tournaments) and I'm graduating college and my parents are expecting me to get a job.

What can be done if you yourself, the player, has a “personal grudge” against a “game’s ranking system or scoring system” that feels RIGGED beyond belief (like it punishes you over something thats out of your control), to the point that Ranking Up is just Not Worth It, and that’s it’s all Child’s Play/Kid Stuff?

In overwatch, i am stuck n bronze because I started playing comp when I was rank 24, the lowest rank you can start playing comp at. I am constantly "on fire" and are alwas getting gold medals and play of the games but i am constantly losing games

NoahMine Golds don't mean anything. Fire is only an arbitrary system. Take it from someone who went from 1300 to 3800 over a few seasons. The people on your team are as bad as the people on the enemy team, and if can swing it back to your team being better with you being better, you will climb.
