That's what the enemy would want you to do. Be alone ashamed and condemned. Dark deeds are out in the light when there's repentance and acknowledgement of sin. As we live in a fallen world with a sinful flesh and nature. If your sin and testimony of how Jesus redeemed you from sin saves someone else from going through the fire. Why wouldn't you want to share? It also helps to equip us saints. And clearly the couple are ok with sharing their trials.
