If people ask what I use I will tell them it's an industry standard cleaning solution which cleans organic mater and sanitizes your home.

When im writing up a description for washing a house I use this.... "Low pressure application of an algaecide to kill organic growth and a low pressure rinse to remove dead organics and dirt from the exterior of gutters and siding " Do you have any suggestions on how it can be worded better?
@mikeevansgutierrezcasanas6234Ай бұрын
Doesn't happen really often but if somebody asks, I always say that I use a high end proprietary house wash detergent that I get from a reputable local pressure washing supplier. 🤷🏽 It's true 😊👍

I also say algaecide, but if customers ask what chemical i use i do tell them and have never had a issue. I also add in all the qoutes any improper sealed electrical on outside of home may be damaged with a few other things as well for my safety. Being honest goes along way for sure.

I have a flat bed and it’s the best thing ever. But. There is an advantage and a disadvantage of having your gear on a truck to a trailer. If you break down, you can’t just hook it to a truck and tow it around to finish off your work. That’s why I’m building a mini trailer with the minimum of gear to tow around if needed. But then again, you have the squirt truck for that.

Funny you mention the “cheap stuff” for property protection. Over the years, I’ve tried it all…the expensive tape and the cheap tape. I couldn’t care less about the cost, I’m only concerned with how well it works. My experience is not only that the “cheap stuff” is effective, but that it conforms to textured surfaces better than the “premium” tape.

I gave this video an industry-standard like! I am one of those paranoid washers and tape everything, maybe too much.. And still fried an outlet this season... We are talking tape over the outles, over the top, and down the sides.. And on one I fried I did all of this AND put a shower cap around the box and taped that too 🤣

WOW! Well, that wasn’t for a lack of effort. I have to believe there was faulty wiring on that one.

I noticed when you were cleaning the back screened area, there were cushions on one of the benches. In the past, I left some cushions on and wound up messing them up with bleach. Do you have expectations for the customer to remove stuff like that or do you, just say “it’s vinyl and won’t get messed up”. I have a tendency to move furniture in many times I wish the customer had already moved it before I got there.
@TheFreshRinseАй бұрын
Great catch. I only move the cloth cushions.

I’m still fairly new to the correct process, do you rinse the deck and sidings first? Or do you go straight into down-streaming the solution right away.
@TheFreshRinseАй бұрын
Great question. Straight to downstream.
@JohnS1212Ай бұрын
My favorite is "Solution." As with my carpet cleaning company, "solution" is the verbiage of choice. Also, do you find the Ridge Washer hose to be any less or more durable...or do you use it merely because of the reasonable price point?
@TheFreshRinseАй бұрын
I have used several brands. I find them all to be about the same, to be honest. At least for residential.
@vin-techservicesexteriorcl8558Ай бұрын
I have been deluting my SH a little (to .08% ) while using my stainless 2.1 injector until I decide to order a new 2.3 injectors; I’ll have both. stainless are a lil pricey and adding the check valve mod on top of that = 💰💰💰 I believe I’m getting basically the same end results overall as swapping out injectors (except flow rate); it still works fine and it smells less too… It’s just a Temp fix anyway. I may even try .08% SH with 2.3 just to see how it works out one day. 🤷♂️ Speed isn’t the biggest factor for me, if I can clear my weekly target and work less; I’m good; Cause I’m old and slow anyway. 🤣

Hey Mike, do you ever have a problem with pain in your wrist from washing houses? My wrist and forearm are killing me and I don’t want carpel tunnel. Any suggestions on what to do? What psi are you running for house washes?
@TheFreshRinseАй бұрын
I sometimes do. 3000 psi. My suggestion would be to build a ball valve system, and do away with the gun altogether.
@KurtspressurewashingАй бұрын
@@TheFreshRinse I have a ball valve before my gun, so you think holding down the trigger when it’s closed and then slowly turning on ball valve? Is that what you are explaining? Just making sure thanks Mike!
@taddmcmichael9061Ай бұрын
I assume you are generally using lower pressures, but you are still needing to grip hard due to the beginning kick. You should really look into flow actuated unloaders, I put them on every machine.
@gilbertlyon6594Ай бұрын
Quick question Mike. When you are spraying 1 percent on the house I sometimes see the solution hitting the porch furniture. Does that hurt anything
@TheFreshRinseАй бұрын
No sir. At least not so far.
@jtsteveАй бұрын
I go with companies cleaning solution. If they ask more I say it’s a cleaning solution mixed with a soap detergent. Ask further I say sodium hypochlorite which will kill and remove all organic growth it is the industry standard. I’m pretty new to the game but even had one customer that “didn’t want bleach” she asked me I stated that it is what they use to make bleach. Also if you leave it out to dry it will turn to salt. Not sure if it’s best but after my presentation she was onboard. With that love Mikes confidence in slinging his mix and where he puts it.👍
