How to Export Individual Clips in Premiere Pro? (no plugins)

How to Export Individual Clips from Premiere Pro timeline? With color and any other effects applied to the videos... It can be done in an automated way with an AHK script I wrote. No presets or plugins are needed. Even if you want to export hundreds of clips from a sequence.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for making this available to us. Now if only there was a way to burn in metadata, I could completely remove Resolve from our processing pipeline.

I know what you mean. In the past I would recommend Kyno for dealing with metadata but they're not developing this software anymore :/

Heads up bro, it's easier to nest each individual clip and then select all nested sequences and hit export. This sends them to media encoder all at once and preserves color correction and effects data. You still need to nest each clip individually but this is a much simpler macro. I just did it myself for 150 clips so the macro was essential.

Awesome! I'm aware of this workaround. Have you made the macro so that you can run it and it will do the job for all of the files on the timeline?

Yeah the above didn't work for me with latest PP it tries to export each clip instead of sending it to media encoder. I've also got a AHK script to nest each sequence in the timeline. Numpad2 has to be set to 'Timelines' and CTRL+Numpad2 has to be set to 'Nest" then the shortcut is SHIFT+NumpadDiv Btw Ctrl+a on the timeline and then a look at the info panel will indicate how many clips in the sequence. Here's the nest all AHK script: Esc:: BreakLoop = 1 return +NumPadDiv:: InputBox, NumDocs, Number of Clips, Please enter the number of clips to nest. loop, %NumDocs% { Send, {Ctrl down}{Numpad2}{Ctrl up} Send, {Enter} Send, {Numpad2} Send, {down} } Return

It not works with me, when i run sripts have this error Error: This line does not contain a recognized action. Text: #NoEnv . Can u help me fix that, thanks.

Nice! Very good to see a macro automation tutorial! I have also tried AutoHotKey, but before trying it I was using Macro Toolworks (for Windows only) and it had a much simpler interface and allowed for all kinds of macros. But this year I switched to Mac and that software didn't work, but thankfully I found the Keyboard Maestro software for Mac, that also has an intuitive interface and powerful macros capabilities. Anyways :) I think it would be interesting if you could make a video about that macros that you have created and use.

It does not send the clips to mediaencoder even if its open. The script does not work for me then

I have to check the script on the newest version. It could be that it doesn't work after the update.

Crap. Looks like the recent update changed some things around. I will try to create an updated version of the script. Use Excalibur plugin if you're shirt on time though
